Green White & Checkers after 40 laps it was Jason Bodenhamer in the Winners Circle at the O'Reilly MLRA Super Latemodels at Winston Speedway, Winston MO

Jason Bodenhamer aboard the Chris Hitchock Motorsports GRT/Buzzard Engines Cannon Electric/Lindsey Transmissions/Brookside Lawn Care/Charleas Race Decals and Bodees Bodies Racer took his second career win with the O'Reilly MLRA Super Latemodels tonight. "When you haven't been to the Winners Circle for a while you really need to be sure and thank all the people that have helped you get here" stated Bodenhamer as he continued to thank his sponsors. Bodenhamer's night started out with a six place starting position in his heat race and using the passing points to his advantage he managed to gain the overall "high-point" starting spot by winning his Heat. But even at that it was close racing amoung the passing points with Alan Vaughn starting 7th and finishing 2nd in the same heat race.
As the Main Event rolled around it was a late night of good racing. Winston Speedway had all their regular Classes,and at a few minutes to Midnight they were underway with drivers introductions. At the drop of the Green it was Bodenhamer off the point into the lead. "The track was pretty racey, you could run in the middle or on the bottom," said Bodenhamer. "We got into lapped traffic on the fifth or sixth lap and I would wait for them to push off the corner. My car was really good." By the 18th lap he was all the way up to 9th in lapped traffic on the 3/8's semi banked bowl. Al Purkey and Alan Vaughn raced equally as hard coming thru the lap traffic.
