Why aren't they having Mods on June 27? There are alot of Modifies from the Greenville area. If you want a turn out I think you would need more then just Streetstocks and Sportmens.
 
Greenville is a fun track. I ran a Modified there and a Bomber a few times.
Try it out I think you will like it.
 
Somebody said to change the rule for pure stock to dohc you would get twice the car count, Pevely and TCS are the only tracks in the area that run SOHC,If this was to happan you could run 2 classes of pure stocks adjust the pay to car count in each class, more money in the tracks pocket, the SOHC cars dont have a chance against DOHC.. But you should invite all..
 
The rules say that the the doors "MUST" be welded shut at TCS we dont have to have the pass door welded shut my door is not welded shut, I am a big guy that is the way I get in my car also it is a safety thing to have it open, I have a hell of a roll cage so I am not worried that the door opens, So I come up to race will I be legal or not?? And being able to run tires of differnt sizes on the front or rear not safe to stagger them would seen better..

Tim tried to pm you your box is full,the way I see it stagger the tires would be ok bigger front and rear on right side than left, I think that this would cut down on the flips in this class, tire pressure is a must to keep the non racing tires on the rims. Not trying to sound like a smartass just woud like this class to grow I amhaving a blast in this class. I have alot of other things about this class that I would like to discuss wit ya when we have the chance, but am looing forward to the Sunday races I would help in anyway, But everything that is done to the cars I think safety ALL the way. thanks Tim for the pm.Clean your box out, Did I say that out loud? I think the hornets at greenville should stay SOHC because like at Highland it is just getting to be to much. It gives some of the guys who dont have the fast cars a chance to run towards the front with the SOHC rule. But im also sayin this because I have a SOHC but some of the other guys that run DOHC would prob disagree with me.
 
Thats why ya run 2 classes I think the car count would be ok the sohc guys now that they wil be running with sohcs not with dohc, 2 classes 2 payouts, also how a bout sometime qualify the pure stocks that would be diffrent...
 
pure stocks:

Having seperate classes for single cam and DOHC sounds great. They shouldn't be lumped together though, DOHC's handle too good down the straightaways. My car isn't even OHC it's OH valve so it's not gonna beat a twin cam. Allowing us to stagger tires would be nice. It would cut costs not having to find four matching tires that are race worthy. Also would give you some adjustability as far as setup goes. Qualifying would be awesome.
