Bootheel 200 Finals re-scheduled again for Sat. 3/31
USCS Malden “Bootheel 200” Finals Rained Out and scheduled for Saturday, March 31st
Malden, MO - March 24, 2012 - An afternoon shower delayed the scheduled 6:00pm start of the Malden Speedway Bootheel 200 Finals on Saturday night. Then more showers and steady rains returned at 8:15pm that soaked the speedway and made the racing surface unrecoverable for Saturday evening. To the disappointment of the promoters as well as the race fans and race teams in attendance the action-packed racing program including 200 laps of Championship main events in eight racing divisions had to be postponed again. The new date is this coming Saturday, March 31[SUP]st[/SUP] with an early start time of 6:00pm.
The entire Bootheel 200 Finals will be completed on Saturday. On the racing card will be the USCS presented by Goodyear winged sprint cars, K&N Filters USCS Modified, Crate Late Model, Hobby, Street Stock, E-MOD, Mini Stock and www.RockAuto.com USCS 600 Sprint Car Series winged mini sprints divisions.
Please hold onto your tickets/rain checks stub for general admission and your pit armbands if you were in attendance on March 24th. Those will be honored for admission to the make-up event.
On Saturday, March 31[SUP]st[/SUP] the Pit gates will open at 3:00pm with grandstand gates opening at 4:00pm.
