Bradshaw, Evinger, Lyle, Fisher and Stevens Sit Atop CMS Point Standings

(Warrensburg) Although the season at Central Missouri Speedway is just a few weeks old, the point’s battles in all five divisions are being contested as if the championships were being decided every weekend. In the ‘Mighty’ Modified division, it’s Sedalia, Missouri’s Joe Bradshaw who finds himself at the helm in his #8 Par Electric, Longfellow Drilling, Eddie Young-sponsored machine. Bradshaw has picked up one feature victory and one b-main in route to his point’s lead. Just behind in second position from Clinton, Missouri, is the #99w AJM Racing, Schofield Racing Engines, L&M Supply, Steward Excavating, Denison Siding-sponsored ride of Dennis Walrath. Walrath, the only two-time feature winner this year in the modifieds also has two heat race victories to his credit. ‘Mighty’ Modified Point Standings:

In the Limited Late Model division, the point’s leader is Owen Evinger of Bates City. Owen pilots the #18 Sterling National, Valley Speedway, Summer Trucking-sponsored car. Evinger picked up the opening night feature victory and has since gone on to win two heat races on his way to the point’s lead. In second position it’s one of the hottest CMS drivers this year, Smithville’s Brett Rollert in the #93r KB Painting, KC Gutter Tech, Buzzard Racing Engines, National Agents Alliance-sponsored machine. In addition to his feature wins Rollert also has three heat race victories to his credit. Limited Late Model Point Standings:

This weekend’s Contingency Connection bonus prizes will be distributed in the Limited Late Model division. Racing action gets underway with gates opening at 5, hot laps at 7 and the first green flag of the night waving at 7:30. Grandstand admission prices are: Adults-$11, Senior Citizens (now 60 and older) and Active Military-$9, Children ages 6 thru 12-$9 and Children 5 and under Free.
