(SOLON SPRINGS, WISCONSIN) The Brady Smith Racing team invaded the famed Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio over the weekend for the 13th Annual 'Dream 100.' Brady Smith timed in seventeenth fastest of the 146 entrants in qualifying on Friday night, June 8, which placed him in one of the six competitive heat races on Saturday evening. The Solon Springs, Wisconsin native then led most of his heat race before ultimately finishing second to heat winner Clint Smith.

Brady rolled off from the inside of the sixth row for the $100,000 to win feature event and sported a very competitive car throughout the A-Main.
After 100 green flag racing laps around the 1/2-mile, high-banked oval, Brady was credited with a strong seventh place finish behind winner Steve Casebolt, Scott Bloomquist, Chub Frank, Darrell Lanigan, Scott James, and Bart Hartman. “It was a great weekend for our AMSOIL team,” exclaimed Brady today via telephone. “We qualified well, ran strong in the heat race, and then completed all hundred laps in the feature. That was our first start in the ‘Dream 100,’ so all of that experience that I gained in running all of those laps was simply invaluable. The ‘Dream 100’ is another one of the crown jewel events in Dirt Late Model racing, so to run seventh against the best cars in the country is a nice accomplishment!”

Brady and his AMSOIL sponsored #2 team are gearing up for a busy five-day stretch of racing action in their home state of Wisconsin, which starts Wednesday, June 13 at the Red Cedar Speedway in Menomonie, Wisconsin. The PolyDome World Dirt Racing League (WDRL) Series will sanction all five events, with four of the races taking place at different venues throughout the Badger State. Brady’s busy schedule this week is shown below:

Wednesday, June 13 | Red Cedar (WI) Speedway, WDRL | $5,000 to win Thursday, June 14 | Superior (WI) Speedway, WDRL | $5,000 to win Friday, June 15 | Cedar Lake (WI) Speedway, WDRL | $5,000 to win Saturday, June 16 | Cedar Lake (WI) Speedway, WDRL | $10,000 to win Sunday, June 17 | Eagle Valley (WI) Speedway, WDRL | $5,000 to win
