(ALLEN, KENTUCKY) Brandon Kinzer and his #18 team rolled into three different southern venues from August 17-20 for a trio of lucrative Super Late Model showdowns. Things kicked off on Thursday evening at the ultra-fast Volunteer Speedway in Bulls Gap, Tennessee with the annual running of the 'Scorcher.' Brandon stopped the clock fifth quickest in his group during Ultimate Super Late Model Series qualifying and later grabbed the fourth and final transfer spot through his heat race. After starting the $10,000 to win main event from the outside of the eighth row, BK wound up retiring after only sixteen circuits in the 50-lapper and was officially paid for a twenty-first place showing.

A pair of Schaeffer's Oil Southern Nationals Bonus Series programs then took center stage in the Peach State over the weekend. At North Georgia Speedway in Chatsworth, Georgia on Saturday night in a $10,000 to win show, Brandon unfortunately got into the wall during qualifying prior to suffering a flat tire while in a transfer spot in his heat race. Following an eighth place run in his B-Main, Brandon was unfortunately forced to watch the 60-lap headliner.

In the weekend finale on Sunday at Rome Speedway in Rome, Georgia, which boasted a $5,300 top prize, the Lexington, Kentucky ace utilized a provisional to gain access into the 53-lap feature. Brandon had then moved up a handful of positions until he was ran off the racetrack by another competitor, which ultimately forced him to retire with another twenty-first place effort. Full results from all three races can be accessed online at www.ultimatesupers.com and www.southernnationalsseries.com.

The Kinzer Motorsports team now plans to take the August 25-26 weekend off from racing action in preparation for Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio. The 10th edition of the 'Baltes Classic' will take place on the hallowed high-banks on Sunday, September 3. The American Late Model Series (ALMS) will preside over the $3,000 to win program at the "Big E," which will mark the final tune-up before the following weekend's 'World 100.'
