(MUSCATINE, IOWA) Brian Birkhofer Racing announced today that their long sponsorship relationship with Seubert Calf Ranches of Dorchester, WI will end after the 2003 season. The Seubert Calf Ranches logo will remain on the #15b MasterSbilt / Pro Power Monte Carlo for Brian’s last event, which is scheduled to be the $15,000 to win Commonwealth Cup at Kentucky Lake Motor Speedway on November 15. The logo will also remain on the team’s sponsor page on their website until the end of the year.
“Mike (Seubert) and I talked on the phone the other day and he made it known that he wanted me to switch chassis for next year,” said Brian from is race shop on Monday. “I am not going to switch from MasterSbilt Race Cars because they have been a major factor in the success that I have had the past couple of seasons. Since I wouldn’t switch chassis, Mike decided to end the sponsorship at the end of the year. I want to thank Mike and Seubert Calf Ranches for their support in the past, but it is time to move on now and that is what we are going to do.”
Brian finished second in the Xtreme DirtCar Series point standings this season and posted 3 wins, 19 Top Fives, and 28 Top Tens in the 35 Xtreme events this year. He also posted a season-high nine Ringers Gloves Fast Time Awards.
