Clauson Steals Show in Show Me State

Sunday August 1st, US 36 Osborn, MO. - Brian Clauson of Noblesville Indiana driving the family owned Parker Stone, NOS Energy Drink, Wholesale Connection number 39 Spike Chassis, Esslinger powered midget captured the win on the first night of the POWRi Speedway Motors presented by RevHoney Midget Money Week. Clauson started outside row three and took off with a blistering pace including Nick Knepper, Zach Daum and Brad Loyet. Clauson would take the lead on the fourth lap from Nick Knepper and never look back. Following Clauson at the line were Brad Loyet, Matt Sherrell, Zach Daum and Andrew Felker.

Clauson Two for Two after Butler Victory

Monday August 2nd, Rising City, NE. - Bryan Clauson won the Ron Hughes Sr. & Jr. Memorial Monday Night at Butler Motorplex. The victory was the second straight for Clauson in the Speedway Motors Midget Money Week presented by RevHoney Energy Drinks, sanctioned by the POWRi, USAC/SMRS and RMMRA Midget Series.

Clauson jumped into the lead at the start. Matt Sherrell escaped injury on Lap 5 when the Oklahoma driver flipped. Despite several cautions Clauson was again the driver to beat driving the Corey Tucker owned Spike/Ford-Esslinger#39. Defending POWRi champion Brad Kuhn, Jerry Coons Jr., POWRi points leader Brad Loyet and Davey Ray completed the top five.

Rain showers fell for Tuesday Night's Cornhusker Midget Challenge

Tuesday August 3rd, McCool Junction, NE. - Rain showers fell for Tuesday Night's Cornhusker Midget Challenge sponsored by NAPA Auto Parts at Junction Motor Speedway. The event was round three of the Speedway Motors Midget Money Week presented by RevHoney Energy Drinks, sanctioned by the POWRi, USAC/SMRS and RMMRA Midget Series.

The rain began as the feature was about to start. Feature competitors divided up the purse equally. Wednesday’s events will begin from scratch, and be highlighted by preliminary races, and a 35-lap feature paying $5000 to win.


Clauson Perfect during Midget Money Week

McCool Junction, Neb., Aug. 4---Bryan Clauson capped off a perfect week winning Wednesday Night's Cornhusker Midget Challenge sponsored by NAPA Auto Parts at Junction Motor Speedway. The event was round three of the Speedway Motors Midget Money Week presented by RevHoney Energy Drinks, sanctioned by the POWRi, USAC/SMRS and RMMRA Midget Series.

Clauson won the previous features Sunday at US 36 Raceway (Cameron, Mo.) and Butler Motorplex (Rising City, Neb.) on Monday. Wednesday’s victory in the 35-lap feature was worth $5,000 to the 21-year old driver from Noblesville, Ind. The feature saw three different leaders before Clauson took command at the one-third mark of the event.

Brad Loyet paced the initial lap, before Jerry Coons Jr. led the next three laps. Zach Daum then took over as leader, before Clauson made the winning pass on lap 12. Loyet, Coons and Daum all failed to finish the event. Clauson driving the Corey Tucker owned Spike/Ford-Esslinger#39, finished ahead of last year's event winner Brad Kuhn, Chad Boat, Don Droud Jr., and Davey Ray. Loyet continues to lead the POWRi points heading into the Aug. 11 Arnie Knepper Memorial at Belle-Clair Speedway (Belleville,IL).
