And, of course, Sam isn't going to do anything. UMP has become an absolute joke. I bet Memmer is rolling over in his grave.
 
He provided a statement to Dirt on Dirt, stating series officials didn't witness the events and couldn't fairly impose disciplinary action. What a crock.

Brian said on dirtondirt they did go over to Kloos' pits, after they found out it was the wrong guy, they went to Babbs pit. Not saying it is right, but they did say they were sorry for their actions, Babbs guy started the fight and Shannon sent him home for the rest of the tour. Brians crew guy was beat up pretty good from what I hear.

I like both drivers, but I do remember when Dixon and Korte were on top around here, you either loved em or hated them.......dont hate cause Brian is racing his ***** off!
 
I find it funny that In the Dirt on dirt report Brian said he only verbally assaulted him grabbed his shirt and shoved him..........I can tell you 100% that is a lie. Good PR part By Brian.

it has nothing to do with him winning. this hatin is because he acted like a PUNK and jumped someone who had nothing to do with the altercation! when hes not winning he is a whiny baby. last night he didnt win, what he do, whined that casebolt was sliding him (CLEAN at that). best part in last nights post race interview was when he said he had a talk with casebolt about respecting people during the feature. HAHAHAHA, yea, hes the one to be giving that talk to others. whatta clown!

I see you left out the rest of the story (the guy was not injured and Brian said he verbally attacked and pushed him and apologized after he was told it was the wrong guy).

PS--Shannon is one of my favorite drivers and I hope he wins the title, but it seems like internet rumors have blown this out of proportion.
 
I dont think this is blown out of proportion at all. he went and 'beat the living h*ll' out of someone (reported) and was the wrong guy all together (reported). pretty cut and dry, no exergerations, no rumors.
 
No that's called good PR by Brian. Did he Apologize? Not that I'm aware of.
Witness also didn't want to be identified.
Did they contact Kloos' crew member? If they did the report would be very different.
When someone has "Shirley Blinders" on you can't convince em he is a douche.
The above are not internet rumors.

I don't hate him because he's winning, I hate him because he's a dirty driver that whines when things aren't going his way. I've had a disliking for him starting about 3 years ago, but now I can't stand him.

UMP now has two black eyes from the last week...letting Feger slide on illegal tires and doing nothing about Shirley's scuffle in the pits. Things are headed downhill fast.

Stroke another for UMP. Shirley stops on the track and brings out the yellow with 3 laps to go at Attica. Instead of being put to the rear he is given his spot back and finishes fourth instead of 13th. What is up with that? Maybe Sam is afraid of getting beat up.

I just don't get it. Has Shirley ever run an entire SN tour before? I don't understand why it seems that UMP was hell-bent on handing him the championship. The summer nationals tour (and UMP) is forever tainted, in my opinion.

brian was called out at highland for jr fanclub by a little girl last year and giving plenty of time to come with several calls made to him... the little girl was real happy at first then u could see it sinking in he wasnt coming and became very upset till the official asked her to pick someone else and BRIAN BEILONG was right out there with her.... just goes to show wht kind of guy shirley is... jmo

Great post!! And i agree. Boy are the forums lit about that move as well. UMP is really losing alot of credibility right now! I was never a Shirley fan. Yes great driver. But yes.......total child at times as well. Seems like this year he has taken childish steroids. He is out of control and needs dealt with. If UMP doesnt do it.........i wouldnt put it past some drivers to take it upon theirselves to deal with the issue and that wont be pretty. Keep messing with high dollar racers and that always results in a huge mess.
 
Ive been saying this for years......UMP has got to go. Its too big for weekly racers. Maybe they need to do a tour thing like Lucas or WOO. But the weekly racer.....its too big. Not enough local enforcements of rules. The tire deal.......total waste now. They should give Kloos his money from last year they took away after boogering Ferger's deal. Tracks just need to buckle down..........do their own thing and make a great set of economical rules and ENFORCE them! If Hoosier doesnt like the idea of running hard tires.......Goodyear is just a phone call away and would be happy with the business. Hard tires......run a chip rule would cut costs alot! People can run late models. People cannot run late models on a weekly basis with unlimited motors and high dollar sponsors pushing the small teams around. I know....everyone will say that the ones with the money will just keep spending. Go ahead.....buy new biscuit tires every night. Wont help. actually...hard tires ran for a few nights really start doing their best. Big motors on a chip.....equals the field.
