Brown Halts Jackson's Streak/Graybeal Grabs Mod Main

Lebanon,Mo.-With over 100 race teams checked-in on Father's Day weekend,action was fast and furious at the LebanonMidwaySpeedway as a winning streak came to a halt.

Action in the SuperStock feature would see Donnie Gennings jump to the early lead with JC Newell in hot pursuit.Eddie Brown began applying pressure to newell and on lap 3 took over second place.Points leader Tony Jackson,Jr. was working his way from 11th and moved into the top 5 by lap 7. The battle up front between Gennings and Brown was side by side as Gennings was having his strongest showing of the season as Jody Saultz and Jason Otto were battling for position while Jackson was still moving forward in the pack.On lap 12,Eddie Brown made a strong move to the top of the track and grabbed the lead as Gennings continued to run the low side while Saultz and Jackson were battling for third place.As the White flag was displayed,Brown made a small bobble in turn 3 and Gennings closed up the gap as Jackson took over third place.With the checkered flag waving,Brown grabbed his first ever Midway feature with early leader Gennings following closely behind with Jackson,Saultz, and JC Newell in the top 5.

The Modified feature saw Eric Hudson grab the ealry lead from his front row starting spot was Tim Brown was following in tow as points leader Wayne Graybeal and Jamie Ragland following.The First yellow waved on lap 5 as Ryan Stacye,points runner-up Jimmy Willis got together in turn two taking both out for the evening.On the restart,Hudson would find Graybeal pulling right on his back bumper as Justin Newman was coming through the pack and moved into contention.On lap 8,leader Hudson lost control in turn 2 and Graybeal moved into the top spot as Newman as Hudson fell to fourth place.As the feature stayed green Newman was making some moves down low on Graybeal held on to the top spot while Ragland and Hudson were swapping third place.The Yellow waved on lap 20 for Kevin Halderman as spun in turn 3.On the restart,Graybeal was staying down low holding off Newman's challanges as Ragland moved to the top and pulled even with leader Graybeal.On lap 22,Ragland scrapped the frontstretchwall sending sparks a flying.As the white flag was displayed,Newman made a hard drive to the inside,but Graybeal kept it straight and grabbed his second feature win of the season followed closely by Newman,Ragland,early leader Hudson and Tim Brown in the top 5.

The Factory feature saw Robert High bring the field down to the green only to loop it in turn 2 bringing out the yellow restarting the feature.On the restart,Ron Myers took over the lead with Randy Berry following closely as Bobby Williams was holding a strong third.With a wild pack running closely,points leader Tim Brown moved quickly through the pack and grabbed the lead on lap 3.With Brown out in front,Bobby Williams closed-up the gap and ran side-by-side with leader Brown until lap 10 when Williams got sideways in turn 3 while the battle for third was between Berry and early leader Myers.Moving thorugh traffic,Williams closed-up the gap and again applied pressure to Brown.Heading for the checered,brown grabbed the victory with Williams,Berry,Myers, and a fast moving Robert High in the top 5.

The Winged Sprints would see Clint Todd grab the early lead with Steve Lawrence in tow.John Rowland was charging quickly and joined-in the front running battle.A quick yellow on lap 4 had point leader Eric Todd moving through the field and moved into the runner-up spot.With Clint battling his brother for the lead until lap 11,when going through lapped traffic,Eric got tangled-up as the lead duo were side by side.Eric would retire to the pits taking him out of contention on lap 12.On the restart,Rowland was putting on pressure as Joe Todd and last weeks winner JP Compton were charging quickly.Heading for the white,Rowland had closed up to 4 cars distance,but Clint became the first repeat winner this season as Rowland,Joe Todd,Compton and Steve Lawrence in the top 5.

The Bomber feature saw 21 strong take the green with rookie Micheal Jackson grabbing the lead with Dusty Rhoades following with Jennifer Crouch battling.On lap 3,Rhoades grabbed control of the top spot as Jackson fell to second while Shawn Nations was moving quickly thorugh the field along with Missy Shaw.A long green run with Rhoades setting a fast pace and Micheal Jackson having a great run in second as point leader Dale Rodden and Mike Piercey were swapping spots.Rodden would bring out a quick yellow on lap 11 as the point leader spun sending him to the rear.On the restart,Rhoades pulled away as runner-up Jackson spun to the infield moving Piercey up to second and Missy Shaw ,Nations and Bill Roberts battling for position.With the checkered waving,Rhoades grabbed the victory with Piercey,Shaw,Nations, and Roberts rounding out the top 5 as 13 of the 21 starters finished on the lead lap.

The Mini-Stock feature would see Ike Moore jump to the early lead as he checked out from the field with Travis Pruitt holding a strong second as points leader Dave Williams was charging from 11th to the top 3.With Ike Moore looking for his first win of the season,Williams began his charge and closed-up the gap.Battling side by side for three laps,Williams grabbed the top spot on lap 11 and claimed the win followed closely by Ike Moore,Travis Pruitt,a hard charging Bryan Deatherage and Chuck Fers in the top 5.
A special kids night with bike races with over 40 kids racing on the track as all kids recieved money and trophies for all.

Next weekend a Midway Double-header as Friday Night will see Double points night for all 6 classes and then on Sat Night-the O'ReillyAutoParts MLRA SuperLateModels will make there first appreance of the season for a big 40 lap feature along with the SuperStocks running for 400 to win ,FactoryStocks 400 to win and Bombers running for 200 to win along with 20 extra bonus points.Racing on Friday Night with the Winged Sprints,Modifieds(20 cars pays 600 to win,400 for second and still 75 to start), SuperStocks, Bombers, FactoryStocks and Mini-Stocks while Sat Night action will start at 7:30 with the gates opening at 5 both nights.
