BRSD Should go ATV Only

Ive been reading all this crap for about a year,1st time I ever posted.

As a ATV racer and being treated 2nd class behind the 4x4 racers I say stop all the crying and whineing just make it a ATV track.

Come on Ross buy the track and make it for Atvs only.

My 2 cents

If track would go ATV only that would be a bad thing. I guess you didnt come watch the 4x4 nationals last year or the buggie nationals. The stands were packed. If the track were to go ATV only it would be like ST. Joe State park.I used to be an atv guy myself. If you want people to watch then keep the cars.I like to see the bikes dont get me wrong and i may be jumping on a bike a time or two this year. the really fast cars and buggies is what alot of people like to see.People can get into st joe state park for free and watch atvs.Thats just my look at it.Good luck everyone this year.

When they have 4x4 Nat or Buggy Nat (1 day) they still run ATV's but during ATV Nat ( 2 Days) we run just Atv's and have had great results and are done in half the time.
Comparing St Joe to BRSD is just stupid.

If I want to see really fast cars Ill go Gateway or Sikeston.

I agree with Andy, an all atv track i dont think is a good idea, u would loose some of your atv's. If u take away all the vehicle class u would loose half of your spectator's and thats where most of the track money comes from.

I do like to watch Wies,Dreher,Landermar but they only show up for half the races.

Jeremy I heard you sold your buggy, and Andrew you cant even beat Gladys with your car, plus you rode a Polaris when you rode Atvs

At the Buggy Nat there was only 8 buggys. Wooo Hooo

ATV ONLY AT BRSD

Thanks

Gladys is a tuff racer and she has numerous track over all championships to prove it. I respect her for that.I have never raced her.My car was raced 4 times last year and it took 1st and top eliminator the last race of the year out of 22 cars.Yes I had a polaris and it won me the 2005 overall atv nationals trophy.Where is yours? Last year my car was thrown together with everyones parts Mallow,Barton,Mackley,Ingram,Sutton and numerous others.I want to thank them again for all the help last year. This year The car looks totally different and a new motor and alot of new goodies!!!

U are correct there was only 8 buggies last year, it also rained for 2 whole days leading up to the event, and it also rained that night till 5:30pm. lets look back at the first buggy nationals back in 05. There was over 30 Buggies between the 2 classes, the stands were jammed backed, u couldnt find any emtpy seats, the pits were full,, the parking lot was full of fans watching, and the concession stand ran out of food at 7:30. Last year the 4x4 show was the same thing, not an emtpy seat in the place.

atvs only are u nuts ,that would be like taking top fuel and the funny cars out of the nhra, you need to quit sniffing your racing fuel and start putting it in your atv, and for the last time the track is not for sale havnt you read.and as for as polaris atvs what i have seen they win a lot of races out there. 4x4s and buggys rule. so quit crying atv racer, buggys and 4x4s is what started sand drag racing anyway so feel lucky you are even racing in the first place.:D

look at how many 4/4's were at king of the hill. you cant say that the buggy's and 4/4's dont bring in the crowds. im sorry but the atv's to me are borring!!!

im sorry but the atv's to me are borring!!!
Watch the unlimited class this year and see how boring it is! Yesterday there were 4 bikes that were running within a 10th of each other. Some really good racing if you ask me, doesn't matter if your an atv or car guy. I for one would'nt want all atv's. The cars and buggies do a fine job of bringing spectators in and digging up the track a little (so the atv guys hook up better) :p . The atv's out number the cars by a long shot and the atv's are much cheaper to race than a car and not everyone can afford a fast car! The people on atv's have to start somewhere to get the feel of racing and alot move on to cars. Remember, you have to learn to crawl before you can walk :p

i also love to watch the former Super Pro class or the Unlimited class as its called now its a blast to watch the fast bikes and its also a very fun class to race in, i had a blast racing that class last year. And i also really enjoy watching the junior atv's

Im Not Saying All Of Them Are Boring Its Just That There Is So Many Of Them That Poeple Loose Intrest When You See So Many In A Row.

I've been racing at BRSD now for about 16 years or so. I started on an atv, then had a jr dragster, then a few more atv's in between. Switched to a car when I was old enough. I remember a time when we had a big atv class of about 20 bikes. But, we would also have about 25+ cars show up regularly. I guess the point i'm trying to make is, the track is a place where people with like interests can get together. It is not meant to be a "car only" or a "atv only" place. We are all racers, I think people forget that sometimes. I think it is neat how fast the atv's are gettin today and I would have one if I knew how to run one of the things. lol But that would be a whole new learning curve. I like watching things that are fast and make loud noises, everything else is just details...
