By Jack WalbringMark Burgtorf, Steven DeLonjay, Ryan Jamison, Abe Huls and Kimberly Abbott all took feature event wins during the Casey’s General Stores Racing Series at Quincy Raceways on Sunday August 31.Burgtorf took the lead away from Gordy Gundaker on the eleventh lap and never looked back to claim his second feature win in a row in the Kick Start UMP Super Late Model feature event. Gundaker settled for second followed by Jason Perry in third, Mike Vanderiet Jr. in fourth and Matt Santel in fifth. Denny Woodworth and Gundaker were the heat race winners with Jason Perry setting quick time during qualifications.Michael Long led the first sixteen laps of the Miller Lite Modified main event but a restart allowed Steven DeLonjay the opportunity he needed as he blew past Long on the restart and pulled away for the feature event win.
