Capital Speedway Dead?

Rumor has it Capital Speedway has been bulldozed to make way for a new subdivision. Rumor also has it that they are going to build a new track at Lake of The Ozarks. Anybody have any details as to what's going on?

i do know that the rumor of capital is not true at all.it just changed hands and has a new owner which is eric shrocks father.they brought the b-mods and street stocks back as well as late models,pro mods,and sprints.steve payne is the man to beat at capital and callaway,even usmts driver brian birgdorf couldnt do it,way to go this season steve.as far as the lake of ozarks track i couldnt tell you but would be cool..

The new track might be the one that Harold (can't think of his last name) the 2002 promoter at I-44 was talking about building in the Lebanon area. Not sure what the status is on that one.
