The "New" Capital Speedway that it has been sold. The land has been sold to a developer and is going to become residential housing for the Holts Summit, MO community.
This may sound as disturbing news to some but we can ensure you that this is GREAT NEWS FOR ALL DRIVERS AND RACE FANS!!
The Speedway is being moved to the Lake of the Ozarks area and is to be named "The Lake Ozark Speedway". We feel that this environment can provide the essentials to create a most enjoyable racing atmosphere rewarding all those involved. The "Lake Ozark Speedway" will be a 1/3 mile dirt track and will be located off of Highway 54 in Eldon, MO.
We are extremely excited about this move and wish all of you to be as well. We hope that all of you continue to be a partner with us providing the most enjoyable dirt racing in the area. We are looking for good things to become of this and are expecting a really great 2004 racing season!!
