Carl hung on to win it... I think Mike was third by a fender.

Congratulations Carl!!

Pretty good race. Was wanting Mike to win in Kenny's truck but glad to see Carl bring it home. Pretty cool deal with the little boy in victory lane. Does anyone know the story with that? Was it "Make a Wish" or something like that? The only thing bad about cheering for Carl Edwards is I don't care for Jack Roush but I am glad his team has given Carl a great ride.

This was probably the best race we will see all week.

I knew it was gonna be his night after Ruetimann forced him down pit lane at 170 MPH....and he came out in turn 1 without losing a spot in the draft!
 
The little boy that was seen with Carl in victory lane was sent to Daytona compliments of "The Dream Factory". An organization that grants wishes for critically or terminally ill children. My wife just happens to work for the gentlemen here in Columbia that put the Daytona deal together. Josh's wish was to go to Daytona. His favorite driver is Carl Edwards. I think his dream came true!
 
I am SO glad you remembered to say something about that....

Carl said he was giving that young boy the trophy from that race. How cool is that of Carl. Now isn't that what racing is all about!!!
