Kevin has a good thing going over there at Tri-City, I do hope he is looking at CARS sanction instead of just at the Fastrak deal. It does seeem silly to make the racers pay the higher license fee($95) and only get points at the one track(if a racer runs for points at a second track in Fastrak the racer must buy a second $95 license), instead of allowing them to pay the less amount for a license($65) and able to run at different tracks to get their points if there is a rainout or something.
It does seem like Tri-city would get more crate LMs or Mods if they went to CARS due to the racers abilty to run there in addition to the other tracks they may run to get their points in case of rain outs or special events at tracks.
Not to mention the CARS sanction fees are more cost effective for the track as well when compaired to Fastrak fees for the track. $75 a week for CARS compaired to $495 up front for Fastrak and $5 for each car there each week (but that is what I remember reading on the Fastrak posts). If that is correct then if you average about 20 cars then the Fastrak fees would be about $100 a week plus the $495 upfront instead of the $75 for CARS each week.
