Track owner, Earl Walls recently announced a new sponsor with added cash prizes for drivers at Central Missouri Speedway for the 2006 race season. The new sponsor, Contingency Connection uses an innovative marketing concept for weekly short tracks. The program guarantees at least $50,000 in contingency awards for the season involving more than 150 companies.

Walls recently talked with the Racing Boys, Kirk Elliot and said, "We think this is a great program for the drivers." "We're just the second track in Missouri to be part of this." Ken Schrader's I-55 Raceway in Pevely has been part of this program for the past three seasons, according to Walls.

Drivers from all five divisions at Central Missouri Speedway will benefit from Contingency Connection. A feature winner plus another driver picked at random will receive gift coupons each week.

Beginning on April 8 CMS will hold the first of three Saturday practice sessions prior to the April 29 KOKO/ SUNOCO, Parade of Champions season opener honoring the 2005 Points Champions. Competing classes for the additional cash prizes will include the Mighty Modifieds,B-Mods, Limited Late Models, 305 Sprints, and Street Stocks.
