Mt. Holly, North Carolina (08/22/17) – Chris Ferguson visited Victory Lane for the second-straight week, with his latest triumph coming at the helm of his Diff-Tran Machining #22 K&K Trucking/ Rocket Chassis XR1/ Clements Racing Engine Super Late Model on Saturday night at Friendship Motor Speedway (Elkin, North Carolina).

The Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series event conquest rewarded him with a $4,000 payday.

“We’ve been a tick off with our Super Late Model program recently, so it was great to get back to Victory Lane,” Ferguson commented. “Dennis [Franklin] definitely made me work for it. I can’t say enough about this team and everything they do for me. Hopefully we can build on this momentum.”

Ferguson invaded the high-banked Friendship Motor Speedway on Saturday night as the Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series made their second appearance of the year at the facility. He started the night by laying down the fastest lap in qualifying to earn the pole position for the 22-car field.

The main event found the North Carolina native leading every lap of the 40-lap finale en route to his fourth win of 2017.
