Bear Lake, PA --- Chub Frank and crew headed out early Friday morning May 20th for the first night of a 19-day road trip with the Stacker 2 World of Outlaw Late Model Series. Brushcreek Motorsports Complex in Peebles, OH was the kick-off for the mini-marathon on Friday, May 20th for the $10,000 to win “Barry Chevrolet 50”. Chubzilla last raced at Brushcreek two years ago with the Renegade DirtCar Series that resulted in a victory.

“I’m the only one of the ‘Dirty Dozen' who has been there before," commented Chub Frank. "Brushcreek Motorsports Complex is wicked fast! It’s just so fast. I’m just trying to remember if it’s got five or six corners!”

Chub and his Lester Building Products, Corry Rubber, All Star Performance, Corry Laser, Slavic Corporation, Farr MotorSports, Rocket Chassis Monte Carlo #1* team unloaded with 40 other drivers who signed in for Friday's event. Chub qualified the #1* fourth quick putting Chubzilla on the front row of heat four where Chub started side by side with Scott Bloomquist and was driving away when Chub came up on lapped traffic. On lap 6 a lapped car Chub spun in front of Chub which he narrowly avoided. That incident brought out the yellow and on the restart Chub drove away from Bloomquist and won the fourth heat which transferred him into the dash.

In the important dash race Chub started alongside Dale McDowell and on the start the two went side by side with Chub getting the advantage off of turn two which vaulted Chub into the lead and eventual win and a pole position in the “Barry Chevrolet 50”.

On the start of the main event Dale McDowell got the lead going into turn one while Chub settled into second. A yellow flag on lap 12 bunched the field up and on the restart Chub chose the high side and slid back to fifth place. With 33 laps in the running order was Dale McDowell, Tim McCreadie, Rick Eckert, Rick Elliott, Steve Francis, Chub, and Josh Richards. At the conclusion of the “Barry Chevrolet 50” Dale McDowell went on to win followed Tim McCreadie, Steve Francis, Rick Eckert, Rick Elliott, Josh Richards, Chub Frank, Billy Moyer, Darrell Lanigan and John Blankinship
