There were two sets of heat races that were the ones to watch tonight because they were setting up the season championship races for the Mini Stocks and the Street Stock divisions. No major damage was done to each other though so all would come out for the big race.

After all this is racing, and it is close at Clarksville Speedway, with the track being only ¼ mile and very high banked makes the racing close and fast for all. Turn 4 seemed to be the corner this weekend for all the spins.
In UMP Late Model action we saw a two car drag race for the first lap with Chuck Proctor (27) winning the first lap then Randle Sweeney (33) winning the second, until the 1st caution coming out due to a crash on the backstretch with Granderson and Frost ending up on the bad side of this one. Sweeney and Proctor had the magic stuff in their cars tonight as they ran off from the rest of the field only for Chuck Proctor (27 to finally take the checkered flag for another win on the season.
