Rebel Challenge Postponed Until April 10th and 11th
Super Late Models Now $13,000 Possible to Win!

Columbus, MS-The 7th Annual Brown Engineering Rebel Challenge at Columbus Speedway has been postponed until April 10th and 11th due to National Weather Service forecasts for high probabilities and amounts of rain on both Friday and Saturday.

The event will also see a positive change in structure with the hope for better weather in April as event promoter Robert Brown has upped the stakes in the Super Late Model division with new purses. The revised line up will include and a $3,000 to win 40-lap main event on Friday night April 10th and a $10,000 to win 50-lap main event on Saturday night April 11th providing for a $13,000 possible to win weekend for the Super Late Models.

The local division Rebel Championships will also include $2,000 to win for the Crate/Late Model Stock division, $2,000 to win for the Open Wheel Modifieds, and $1,000 to win for the Street Stocks. Local divisions will run qualifying races on Friday night with B-Mains and Main event on Saturday night April 11th.
