You can order them tickets for the 2010 Commonwealth 100 at Bill Sawyer’s Virginia Motor Speedway and save $15 each on adult race day prices. This plus advance ticket purchaser’s will get a Free Friday Pit Pass!Get your orders in to ensure Christmas delivery.

There are two ways to purchase tickets: Visit www.vamotorspeedway.com to download the advance ticket order form and send it in with a money order or cashiers check. No personal checks will be accepted. Or fans wanting to purchase tickets using a credit card can call the speedway at 804-758-1867 Monday through Friday between the hours of 9am and 4pm. Mastercard, Visa and Discover cards accepted. All seats are general admission.

Advance ticket prices will save fans $15 per adult ticket and $10 per child ticket so get your tickets early. Advance ticket purchases will also include a Friday ONLY pit pass and early admittance into the driver autograph session. Advance two-day adults tickets are $35 with advance two-day child (6-12 years old) tickets only $10.

Drivers can save too by entering early!The early entry fee of $150 not only saves you $50 off the regular $200 price but also includes the drivers $50 two-day pit pass making the driver’s savings a total of $100. All advance sales of tickets and pre-entry deadline is April 1<SUP>st</SUP> 2010.

A $25,000 prize is earmarked for the winner of the two-day event, which will offer a cash purse totaling over $125,000. The Commonwealth 100 will pay $2,000 to start, and a 30-lap Non-Qualifiers’ Race will boast a $3,000 first-place award from a purse of nearly $16,000.

Time trials and heat races will be run on Fri., April 16, with B-mains, non-qualifiers races and the Commonwealth 100 on Sat., April 17. <O:p

Free Camping: Fans can also save money by camping on the speedway grounds. There will be no charge to camp (no hookups) in designated areas. The speedway is also working with several campgrounds in the area to offer full service camping at a reduced cost.
