FREDERICKTOWN, Mo. -- (Aug. 13, 2004) Kevin Mosier of Stoney Point and Billy "The Kid" Smith of Park Hills picked up big feature wins at the Fredericktown Raceway Friday night.
Mosier picked up his checkered flag in the Sportsmen class feature as he held off the charge of Danny Moser and Chuck Adams for the victory. Moser finished second with Adams third, Greg Stumbaugh fourth and Nathan Gibson fifth. They were followed by Kenny Kennedy (driving the #77 of Dustin Homan), Greg Sarackus, Gary Henson, Keith Craig and Doug Savage.
Adams won the first heat with Gibson second and Stumbaugh third. Chris Boyd won the second heat with Mosier second and Savage third. Boyd won the trophy dash with Adams second and Gibson third.
Billy Smith won the Olympic Steak House Modified class feature after grabbing the lead away from Mike Francis early in the 25-lap event and then hanging on for the victory despite the tough competition. Francis settled for second place with Tommy Worley Sr. and very close third, Brent Thompson was fourth with Kenny Kennedy fifth. They were followed by Rich Whaley, Joe Giesler, John Bohn, Charlie Savage (driving the #79k of Brad Mashek) and Gross.
Giesler won the first heat with Kennedy second and Thompson third. Chris Boyd won the second heat race with Worley second and Savage third. Smith won the third heat with Whaley second and Leo Kiefer third. Smith also won the trophy dash with Francis second and Boyd third.
In the Chuck's Short Stop Pure Street feature race, Jeremy Greenwalt of Potosi once again shined as he drove the #43 Camaro to another feature win. Derek Shipman captured second place with Bill Skaggs third, Ronnie Bader fourth and Travis Goodman fifth. They were followed by Chris Webb, Lenny Terrell, Ray Dodd, Bill Kinney, and Chad DeSpain.
Greenwalt won the first heat with Bader second and Skaggs third.. Goodman won the second heat with Shipman second and Webb third. Greenwalt won the trophy dash with Goodman second and Skaggs third.
In the RAMS Mini Stock class, Rick Ruch of Perryville pulled out a last second victory by coming from third place with two laps to go for the win. Dave "The Wolf" Wofford finished in second place with Brian Cox third, J.J. Johnson fourth and Jon Paul Reando fifth. They were followed by Clyde Cox and Darrell Dickerson.
Reando won the heat race with Wofford second and Johnson third. Reando won the trophy dash with Wofford second and Ruch third.
Charlie Savage of Annapolis was the Dwarf car feature winner with Dom Wadlow second, Dustin Wadlow third, Ron Wadlow fourth and Tommy Worley Sr. fifth.
Dom Wadlow won the heat race with Savage second and Dustin Wadlow third. Dom then won the trophy dash with Savage second and Ron Wadlow third.

With all the changes that were made going into the night everyone pulled together to put on an outstanding show. Special thanks to everyone who was new and/or working a new job last night. The car counts were decent, the crowd was about average or so, but the racing was subperb as was the track conditions.. Hopefully we'll get a repeat performance this coming Friday night with even more cars in the pits and more people in the stands...
 
i just have a question... how can someone get kicked out of a race track for "bad mouthing" someone on here? I think thats pretty dumb.. and as far as ive seen.. the person that is being accused of saying stuff, hasnt even said anything... Idk what the deal is, but id like it to be cleared up.. thanks.

Im just relaying what someone told me.. It might not be true, but idk why he'd lie to me... Just thought id ask.
