(the laps I have listed are what I had written down when cars pulled out, they may not be exactly accurate) (Note Chris Carlson pulled out on lap 7 and came back into the field on lap 47 to finish and Brian Shirley pulled out on lap 43 and came back on lap 52 to finish)

Actually with no more cars finishing it was still and exciting race between Donnie O & English and then back in the field between Hammer & Smith.

O' Neal and English swapped the lead about 3 times in the last 40 laps...O'Neal almost blew it with 10 to go..but recovered in turn 4, and took off. Not a bad race. Track stayed heavy all night with a foot high cushion.

The Modified feature was really good. 31 Modifieds that I counted...but Todd Kirkland passed the #27 of Crosby for the lead on the last lap for the win....the were beatin and bangin all the way down the backstretch.
Jeff Leka had a mediocre night with around 5th place.
Tom Seets was drvin the 7d car that Dean Vicker's usually pilots...but didn't make the feature.

Two cars on the lead lap at the finish and only 7 car finished the race? Is that right? Good think Macon's as small as it is or the action would have been pretty thin except for O'neal and English. I like Macon, but it's final results like these that make me wonder if 100 laps isn't a little too much.
