Yes, congrats to Marty on picking up the feature win. Man, Marty, Shannon, and Bill were putting on one heck of a show until Shannon got into the back of that slowed car. Even after that, the Wheelman and Marty continued to put on a great show. Hats off to Marty, but I really want to congratulate Bill on his second place finish. Looks like them Chevys are on it this year. GREAT race, Bill. I'm sure you are very pleased with how well that ol' truck did. Close, very close to picking up that first win. Were you just holding back because you knew Brenda would want to be there to see the first win? LOL....just kiddin'.

Wow, sounds like we missed a great feature race, but we had to leave
early...However, we got to see some very competitive heat races in the
Mini-stock class, including some 3 wide racing...Keep an eye on the
new guy, Tod in the #24 truck...If he keeps going like he has so far,
I can see a candidate for "Rookie of the year"...C.J. and I were also
impressed by Meagan Bell in the #16 Pinto. Some good driving for her
1st time out...( I believe she moved up from racing Go carts last year)

yep, doerun had a fast track last night-i enjoy racing side by side with marty knowing we both respect each others equipment-bill will get a feature win very soon-great car count for opening night-i'm still kicking my self in the rear for not being able to miss the wreck.oh well it could of been alot worse-can't wait to get the front end back together and get back up with bill and marty-man that was some good exciting racing,what a show!!!!!remember marty's truck is for sale so somebody please buy it

Just want to say good job to Marty on his feature win. It was a good turn out for the mini stocks and the competion level was great. Also like to say Bill, Shannon, Roger and Bryan you all did a great job putting on a good show for the fans, and alot of them said so after the races, it was a pleasure to race with you guys. Also all of you mini stock drivers did good, it takes everyone, to run three wide at Doe Run and show the sportsmanship and driving talent of each and everyone of you. Again hats off to everyone for a great job last night.

Congrats to Marty. It was a good race. It was nice to be back towards the front and be close enough to race with you and shannon. Had a blast racing last night with everyone. It's a big bummer that CJ blew his motor up because he's been strong so far this year. Hope he gets it back out there soon.
And yes Crystal...i let marty have that one because Brenda couldn't be there due to nieces graduating. hehe Yeah RIGHT!! It really was that mic they were giving the winners that made me decide to give it to Marty. HAHA You know how I am with mics in front of people... Shoot I was running my butt off trying to get Marty. Marty and Shannon are top dogs for a reason and I'm going to have to work harder than that to get them. It's going to be fun trying though. Thanks for the support.
I heard the announcer had to fight marty to get the mic back because he just kept going on. I got to the pits loaded up on the trailer and still heard Marty going over the PA. LOL

I & others added some new colors to my TIGER TRUCK last night, I have some FLAME RED (#24) on the left front wheel and some Nickelson (#21) on the left rear ! We went 3 wide a few times last night thru the turn without causing a yellow, now that some close mini-stock racing @ DRR!
If it wasn't Shannon #8 it was Bill #21 on me tight in the feature. The best part about my feature win last night is it was the first picture I have gotten with my son Chase since my first feature win 2001 with the yellow 36 M&M RACER. That to me was better than any check or sticker (I was happy to get those also).

Bad Bob was at Doe Run and I missed it.
Excellent racing by all last night in the ministock class. That 21 looks like it is on steriods this year. Boy it is quick. If Marty made a mistake Bill would of been there to take that spot but Marty was on his game last night, Good Job Marty!
One thing that I saw on playday and last night. Once Megan Bell gets used to being in ministock, look out. She looks to be a strong competitior by years end.

i know that i had a blast, i was just glad to be third in heat, and wasnt doin bad at fourth in feature till i spunn out. oohh well, congradulations everyone look forward to see everyone again!
