EAGLE, NE (May 21) – Eagle Raceway’s O’Reilly World of Outlaws Series events – the Eagle Nationals and the 1/3-Mile Short Track Nationals – will pay 25 percent more during the series’ 25th Anniversary Season, track owner Craig Cormack announced Wednesday.
"We want to make our shows a success, and the car owners and drivers are critical for us to do that," said Cormack, who also sponsors Joey Saldana’s #17 MCI sprinter. "We want to give something back to the race teams."
Eagle Raceway will pay $15,000 to the winner and $1,500 to start the Saturday "A" Features. The preliminary program’s "B" Features will pay a minimum of $200 per car. Each car will be guaranteed $350 to start the "B" Feature in the feature programs.
The Eagle Nationals is scheduled for June 27-28 and the 1/3-Mile Nationals will be run September 19-20.
