POPLAR BLUFF, Mo. -- (August 26, 2006) Jimmy Cornell and Kyle Oberkramer picked up their first feature wins of the season Saturday night at the Poplar Bluff Speedway. Cornell won his feature in the Super Street class while Oberkramer won the Pure Street feature.
In the Super Street class, Cornell picked up the checkered flag with Doug Moore second, Greg Sparks third, Jason Pennington fourth and Jamie Robards fifth. They were followed by Jason Palmer, Larry Ludwick, Tim Winchester, Jared Wagster and Paul Reeder.
In the Pure Street feature it was Oberkramer in victory lane with Greg Casey taking second place, Jeff Beeson was third with Mark Todd fourth and Robert Williams fifth. They were followed by Jason Bean, Chris Cannon, Rob Lee, Coot Wilson and Tony Lackey.
In the Modified class feature it was Stephen Groves the winner with Todd Clifford second, Jared Wagster third, Jeremy Conner fourth and Austin Mathews fifth. They were followed by Tim Radford, Scott Burge, Shane Moody, Mike Francis and Kenny Kennedy.
In the Dwarf car feature, Brad Paquet picked up the win with Wayne Arnold second, John Leahy third, Scott Bell fourth and Ryan Poyner fifth. They were followed by Jeff Asher, Bobby Black, Mike Poyner, Nelson McMikle and Jeff Hall.
In the 2-Man Crusier class feature, the team of Brown/Dunning was the winner with Foster/Horton second, Hanley/Michaels third, Stephens/Stephens fourth and Retherford/Reece fifth. They were followed by Rigdon/Rigdon, Leach/Leach, Wilkinson/Wilkinson, Phelps/Janes and Catt/Bland.
