Wanting to know how much everyone turns their engines in Lm and Mods? Tell what size engine and how much, againest a chip or not, Also, When it gets slick, do you gear higher or lower, do you think hitting your rev limiter down the straight helps entering a corner. Lets make this informative!!

depending on which engine we run we turn them around the 7500 range, but have turned them in the 8000 range...we keep them in the power band, use no chips...when it is slick sometimes we go to lower gear to make it more driveable and hook up better....when you got a car setup and hooked up i dont think the limiter makes a difference it should drive in just fine..the problem i have is my car is on shortbars and when it rares up going down the straitaway it makes it hard to see other cars going into the corner so i gotta get off the gas alot to be able to se if anything is there which intern unhooks the car then it takes alot more finess to pick up the throttle without anilating the tires...im gonna try some different things this season to try and be able to see a little better going in to where i dont have to totally let out of the throttle to be able to see....

If you dont mind me askin, so that everyone can see, what kind of internals do you have that allows you to turn 8200 or more and what kind of balancing was done.

carrillo rods, wiseco pistons, callies cranks is what we use most of the time but depends on what it is goin in really...fully balanced..one other key thing you failed to leave out is clearences and oiling ect....they will very from engine builder to engine builder but that is yet another key to haveing a solid foundation capable of runnin high rpms...we build all of our own engines and those are a few of the key things to havin a reliable engine..
