Dean Adams, Sr., 81, Potosi departed this life September 20 at Missouri Baptist Hospital.
Survivors are wife Janet Adams; Dean Adams, Jr. and girlfriend Rhonda Dean; Ted Adams and wife Chris; Marvin Adams and wife Cindy; Brenda Adams; Robin Essmeyer; Step daughter Deborah Thompson and husband Leo; step son Jon Moffett; thirteen grandchildren Chris, Kimberly, Amy, Andrea, Deanna, Dustin, Ciara, Shaun, Janae, Adam, Ian, Darren, Taylor; six great grandchildren.

Visitation Tuesday, September 22, 4:30 PM at Declue Funeral Home. Funeral service Wednesday, September 23, 11 AM at Potosi Southern Baptist Church.

Interment at New Masonic Cemetery.

We will miss you

I have had the pleasure of knowing Dean for quite sometime. I would always talk to him at the VA when he came in about racing. We Will miss you so much. All the family will be in my prayers. Susan Smith.

Enjoyed my talks with him about the old days of racing at the car lot in Potosi, A great racer and a great man. Prayers to the family. Scott
 
"Victory in Jesus!"

I went to visitation last night and Dean would be proud of the way they had his casket decorated with Black/White checkered tape. They also had old racing photos attached to it. Dean loved the the Lord, Janet and his family very much, as they also loved him. Let's also not forget his love for racing. Dean could get more horsepower out of a 360 better than anyone else. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Janet and the family as we watch one more Victory for Dean as he crosses into Heaven. Marty Boyer
 
Marty's right !!Dean loved the Lord.His worn bible was always on his desk.To the family,Gary Montgomery told me he had went to be with the lord on thursday.I'm sorry i wasn't there at the funeral home. ROGER
