(WHEELERSBURG, OHIO) Dirt Late Model Hall of Famer Delmas Conley added another mark in the win column on Saturday evening, August 23 at the nearby Portsmouth Raceway Park in Portsmouth, Ohio! Delmas qualified third quickest during time trials, which transferred him into the dash and ultimately gave him a starting spot towards the front of the weekly Super Late Model feature event. The Wheelersburg, Ohio legend then beat Jason Montgomery, Ben Adkins, Rod Conley, and Mike Wilson to the checkers to bag the $2,000 winner's share. His son Rod had won his heat race prior to recording the fourth place effort in the A-Main.

A night earlier, Rod, R.J., and J.T. Conley all made the rare trip to Ponderosa Speedway in Junction City, Kentucky for the 11th Annual 'John Bradshaw Memorial,' which was sanctioned by the Ultimate Super Late Model Series and paid $10,001 to the winner. The high-profile race was marred by a long rain delay after the completion of the heat races and the 50-lap headliner was not completed until well into the wee morning hours.

"Hot Rod" emerged with the best finish from Ponderosa, as he ran third in his heat race before picking off five competitors during the 'John Bradshaw Memorial' en route to a solid fifth place performance behind only victor Mike Marlar, Kent Robinson, Skylar Marlar, and Brandon Kinzer. J.T. finished seventh in his heat race, third in his B-Main, and twelfth in the main event at the Bluegrass State venue. R.J. placed second in heat race action, but a flat right rear tire while running inside of the top five of the feature dropped the driver of the #71c to a disappointing twenty-second place showing. Full results from both Ponderosa and Portsmouth can be viewed online at www.ponderosaspeedway.net and www.portsraceway.com.

All four Conley Motorsports, Inc. drivers are gearing up for a single event over the Labor Day holiday weekend. The Portsmouth Raceway Park in Portsmouth, Ohio will greet the cars and stars of the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series on Saturday, August 30. A $10,000 top prize will be on the line in the annual running of the 'Pepsi 50 River Days Rumble.' The one-day program will consist of qualifying, heat races, consolation events, and a 50-lap feature. Additional information can be obtained by pointing your web browser to www.lucasdirt.com.
