DIRT LATE MODEL NEWS & NOTES:

ROBBIE BLAIR is the 2004 #1 COCHRAN CAVALCADE POINTS Late Model champ over Todd Andrews by a single point.

Lehmann Racing will have BART HARTMAN and RICK ECKERT returning to the Chili Bowl to drive Lehmann Racing Team Midgets. In addition, TIM MCCREADIE and JEEP VAN WORMER will also be competing in team cars.

ROB LITTON has secured his first-ever O'Reilly SUPR Late Model Championship with two races remaining on the schedule. Litton leads Doug Ingalls by 322 points in the standings and the maximum points available at the final two races is 262.

STEVE DRAKE is looking forward to the January Early Thaw action at Casa Grande AZ as national star Rick Eckert will be joining him as a teammate for the Speedweek. Drake was crowned the ’04 California Clash champion.

SARA MALONEY will be driving for the James Bartlett owned team on the new Fastrack Championship Series in 2005. The team plans to compete throughout Ohio, Kentucky, Virginia, and West Virginia.

RICK ‘The Hurricane’ ISADORE of Cyclone, PA won the 2004 United Late Model Series (ULMS) championship.

2004 Latrobe Speedway point champion is DOUG HORTON. Horton is the champion in the Turek's Heating, Plumbing & Air Conditioning Super Late Models at Latrobe Speedway with no finish lower than third over the course of the year. He picked up four feature wins, seven second places and one third in the 14 point races he entered. This was the second year Horton raced with the Dave Yowler-Bobby Lake Motorsports Team. The No. 146 is a Rocket Chassis powered by a Jules Machine motor. Formerly residing in Morgantown, West Virginia, Horton now lives in Bruceton Mills, WV. He is an Engineering Technician with the U.S. Department of Energy.

DAVE GARMANN won the points championship for the Colorado Late Model Association by only 20 markers over Rick Lieser. Garmann’s car is owned by Mike Ormsbee and sponsored by Buckeye Welding, D&G Racing and Ormsbee Racing.

TERRY BOUSHEE won the ’04 Rookie of the Year title with the Colorado Late Model Association.

With his third place finish last week ay Magnolia Speedway EARL PEARSON, JR added another impressive top five finish in 2004. The Dunn-Benson Ford Motorsports Team was a team of consistency in 2004. Earl and the Team competed in 59 events in 2004 including the UMP Stacker 2 Xtreme DirtCar Series, World Of Outlaws Series, NARA Series, BOB Series, Southern All-Star Series, Carolina Clash Series, UMP Summer Nationals, and numerous unsanctioned events winning 11 times, finishing in the top five 42 times, and 47 times finishing in the top ten. JOEY DANIEL of Liberty, KY is the ’04 Late Model points champ at Bluegrass Speedway.

RAY MOORE put an exclamation mark on his 2004 Late Model America Rookie of the Year title by winning his first-ever O'Reilly SUPR Late Model victory at Deep South Speedway in Loxley, Alabama recently.

Belton, MO's ALAN VAUGHN came up the big winner with the O'Reilly MLRA in 2004 as he captured his third straight crown and fourth overall. Vaughn capped off the season with the recent win at Outlaw Motor Speedway in Muskogee, OK that sealed the title and held off hard charging Jason Bodenhamer from Centerview, MO by 66 points in the final tally 1512 to 1446.

2004 Carolina Clash Rookie Of The Year winner is ROGER PATE of Inman, SC.

For three years, Valley Center, Kan., hot shoe Larry McDaniels had held a strangle hold on the O’Reilly Auto Parts Topless Outlaw Racing Association presented by Morris Communications, but that streak came to an end at the end of the 2004 season as STEVE KOSISKI of Papillion, Neb., became only the second champion in the series’ four-year history. Kosiski is sponsored by Cen-Pe-Co Lubricants, Double D Hook n Go Containers, Omaha Drywall, and drives a Shaw-Rocket chassis with a Grove Automotive powerplant.

LONNIE PARKER, JR., wrapped up the Southwestern Dirt Late Model 2004 season championship.

JEEP VAN WORMER and the Iron Motorsports team wrapped up their 2004 racing season last weekend at the state-of-the-art Kentucky Lake Motor Speedway in Calvert City, KY. The Iron Motorsports team wound up reaching victory lane three times in 2004, all of which came in his home state of Michigan. He also amassed 6 Top Five finishes and 15 Top Ten efforts in the 47 events that he competed in this season. He finished thirteenth in the final version of the Stacker2 Xtreme Dirtcar Series and placed fifth in the Lucas Oil Rookie of the Year standings. Info: www.jeepvanwormer.com

FRANK INGRAM of Acworth, GA highlighted 2004 by winning his first track championship at Dixie Speedway with nine victories including three in a row in May that prompted officials to put a bounty on his # 9 Rayburn chassis for the first time.

JUSTIN WELLS of Aurora, MO with 20 wins took his second consecutive 2004 IMCA Late Model championship title.

JASON BODENHAMER and his wife Jackie welcomed the birth of a new son, William Ace Bodenhamer recently.

BRIAN BIRKHOFER has called it a season. Birky finished the year competing in 72 events and reaching victory lane 12 times. He was able to win several “big” events including the ‘Gopher 50’ ($12,000), the ‘USA Nationals’ ($40,000), the ‘Turbo Blue Illinois Fall Nationals’ ($12,000), and the ‘Xtreme National Finals’ ($35,000). He also won a World of Outlaws Late Model feature event at the Volunteer Speedway in Bulls Gap, TN in March. He amassed 40 Top Five finishes and 51 Top Ten efforts in those 72 events this season. He also had a very successful season on the UMP Stacker2 Xtreme Dirtcar Series circuit, finishing fourth in points despite a few mechanical problems early in the year. Birky wound up fourth in the YJ Stinger Cup point standings after claiming four victories, fourteen Top Fives, and nineteen Top Tens with the series this season. SANCTION NEWS & NOTES:

A new sanctioning body will appear in 2005 in the state of Tennessee. The Tennessee Thunder DirtCar Series, as it will be dubbed will cover the Volunteer State in 2005 hosting Dirt Super Late Model Events at racing facilities across Tennessee. The Tennessee Thunder DirtCar Series is tentatively planning a 15-18 race schedule for the 2005 racing season.
With the 2004 O'Reilly MLRA Thunder Tour completed all that remains is to hand out the championship hardware. Join the O'Reilly MLRA staff, drivers, sponsors and fans at the Argosy Casino on Saturday, November 20 for a night of celebrating and bench racing. The Social Hour kicks things off at 5:30 followed by dinner at 7:00 and the awards presentations directly afterwards. Tickets are $30.00 in advance and $35.00 at the door. Chairman and CEO Paul A. Kruger announced that the Board of Directors has unanimously approved changing the Company’s name from “Boundless Motor Sports Racing, Inc.”, to “DIRT Motorsports, Inc.” During the meeting the Board also approved the reincorporation of the company to Delaware. The Company’s name change and reincorporation to Delaware will require shareholder approval in order to be effective.
Divisional rules for the 2005 I.M.C.A. race season will be announced Thursday, Nov. 18. That date coincides with mailing of the monthly Inside I.M.C.A. newsletter. 2005 rulebooks and competitors’ licenses will be mailed starting on Jan. 5. Rulebooks will also be available, for $9.95 plus postage, to non-I.M.C.A. members.
The 2004 Pacific Coast Xtreme DirtCar Series Awards and Dinner Banquet will be held Saturday November 13th at the Monarch Hotel and Conference Center located at 12566 S.E. 93rd Ave, Clackamas, Oregon. Cocktails will start at 7:00 PM, Dinner will be at 8:00 PM with live music at 9:30 PM. Tickets will be available at the door. The Monarch Hotel has blocked out rooms for the Series, for room reservations call 1-800-492-8700, discounted rates reserved under "Pacific Xtreme Dirt Racing" will be available for $79.00 double occupancy per room.

RACE TRACK NEWS & NOTES:

Winchester (TN) Speedway's next event will be the second annual Autumn Southern Sizzler on Saturday afternoon, November 6, a 40 lap Super Late Model show paying $3,000 to win and $250 to start. The Big Kahuna at The Rock/Allegany County Speedway in Cumberland, MD has been postponed for the second time and now will be run November 5.

Lakeside (KS) Speedway owner Marc Olson recently underwent surgery.

The Bluegrass Speedway Season Championship Banquet will take place on Sunday, November 14, at Samuels Hall at the Nelson County Fairgrounds, which is next door to Bluegrass Speedway. The banquet will get underway at 2:00 p.m. EDT with a meal, followed by the awards ceremonies. RSVP by no later than Thursday, November 11. The roar of high horsepower engines will be heard on both Friday and Sunday nights during the 2005 race season at Nebraska Raceway Park. The speedway will continue to host its regular NASCAR Dodge Weekly Series sanctioned events on Sunday nights and will add a weekly Friday night race program.

Tickets are now on sale for the 2004 Lakeville Speedway Banquet that will be held on November 20th at the R & L Banquet Center on Fifth Avenue and Rt 30 in Mansfield. While working on the 2005 schedule officials at Bill Sawyer’s Virginia Motor Speedway have decided that the Thurston Spring Service Super Late Model Division will not be a weekly division for the 2005 season. Instead, the speedway will host a series of special events that they feel will highlight the division and its sponsors more appropriately.

Crossville Raceway (TN) USA will hold an open practice on March 18, 2005.

Jim Nier’s K-C Raceway near Chillicothe, Ohio is undergoing a facelift for the highly anticipated 2005 racing season. Many of the improvements are in place and operational less than one month after the 2004 racing season ended. The track racing surface has been upgraded with over 1000 tons of new clay. In a continued effort to maximize the family package, a secured playground area is being landscaped and equipped with thousands of dollars worth of state-of-the-art playground equipment. Some minor overhauls of physical facilities are also in progress. The erection of the new VIP suite off turn four may also become a reality this winter. Info: www.kc-raceway.com

Arizona Sport Shirts, Inc., and its subsidiary, GottaRace.com, of Indianapolis, IN announced that they have acquired the well-known internet website/message board/forum 4m.net. Located at www.4m.net the website was founded by the late John Appleget and later purchased by Afco, Inc. Arizona Sport Shirts will assume full control and ownership of the effective immediately.

Billy J. McCoy, 64, of Glasgow, Kentucky died Friday, October 22, 2004 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. Mr. McCoy had owned Barren County Speedway for three years and ran it under the name of McCoy Motor Speedway, but had leased the track in May of 2004 to Spencer Wilson and Tony Rose, who returned the track to its original name, Barren County Speedway.

Dawn Lindstrom won the 2004 Rocket Chassis raffled off by the Racers For Tots organization.

MasterSbilt Race Cars has won the 2004 WORLD Dirt Racing League PolyDome Super Series Chassis Builder's Championship it was announced recently. The Crothersville, Ind., company, owned by Keith and Tader Masters, scored a series high 13 wins during the 26-event WDRL schedule, including three victories by series champion Brady Smith, to win the title over the defending WDRL chassis builder's champion, Rocket Chassis of Shinnston, W.V.

The 32nd RPM Promoters Workshops, produced by Racing Promotion Monthly, the idea newsletter for auto racing promoters, will have the theme "It's About Saturday Night!" Held on new dates this winter at the Eldorado Hotel Casino, Reno and at the Marriott Orlando Lake Mary, the annual conventions will discuss the competition for Saturday night in a glutted leisure-time marketplace. The Workshops are scheduled for December 2-4, 2004, in Reno, NV, and February 10-12, 2005, in Lake Mary, FL.

Officials of the Stacker 2® Xtreme DirtCar Series and SPEED Channel have agreed to a television package for the 2005 and 2006 racing seasons with an option for the 2007 racing season. The television package will bring the dirt throwing, side by side high-horsepower excitement of the Stacker 2® Xtreme DirtCar Series to millions of households. Several events for the 2005 and 2006 racing seasons will be taped and broadcast on a delayed basis with the possibility of a “live” broadcast. The broadcast schedule for the upcoming 2005 season has not yet been determined.

Romesburg Media announced that its award winning motorsports television program Chase to the Checkered will be moving to Fox Sports Net (FSN) Pittsburgh for the 2005 racing season. The move to FSN Pittsburgh will deliver the popular motorsports program to over 2.2 Million homes in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Maryland and West Virginia. Additionally, Chase to the Checkered will be seen nationwide by DirecTV and Dish Network satellite television viewers who subscribe to the Fox Sports package
