In an effort to help racers and their teams get a jump on the 2006
season, DIRT MotorSports has placed on all of its Web sites the 2006
Licensing Applications.

Based on suggestions from members last season, the 2006 form is shorter
and more user friendly — in other words, less legal jargon.

There are four ways people can apply. First, a direct mail was
conducted with 2005 members and a self-addressed envelope was enclosed.
Second, the form can be printed from the Web site
(www.dirtmotorsports.com) by following the link on the left side of the
home page. Third, the Licensing Department will be at Golden Isles
Speedway on Feb. 1 for the UMP event and staying for the Feb. 4 World
of Outlaws Late Model Series season opener, as well as on Feb. 9 at
Volusia Speedway Park for the World of Outlaws Sprint Series action.
Lastly, the DIRT NorthEast office in Weedsport, N.Y., will take
applications for Licenses on a walk-in basis.

In addition, a separate e-mail address (membership@dirtmotorsports.com)
has been set up for applicants to e-mail their picture to us so we can
put it on their 2006 License.

The Licensing Department will make every effort to complete the process
within a week of an application being approved.

Those who are seeking season media credentials for World of Outlaws
Sprint Series or World of Outlaws Late Model Series events should
contact Chris Dolack at cdolack@dirtmotorsports.com for a separate
form. Media covering DIRT NorthEast events and also those specifically
held at DIRT-operated facilities Canandaigua Speedway, Cayuga County
Fair Speedway and Rolling Wheels Raceway should contact Tom Skibinski
at tskibinski@dirtmotorsports.com.
