BETHESDA, OH -- Citing the requests of dirt track racing fans from all over the country, motorsports media member Dustin Jarrett has launched a brand new message board dedicated to the "good ol' days" of racing.

Dubbed "Dirt Track Throwback", the set of five forums (80's and 90's, 60's and 70's, 50's and Earlier, Closed Tracks, and General Discussion) provides race fans of all ages a place to come and chat about the throwback days of racing. In its first week of existence, the site has already received well over 10,000 hits.

"My main goal of getting the site up and running has been accomplished," Jarrett said. "Now we're kind of at a 'wait-and-see' stage. If things go well and the feedback is positive, then we'll start thinking about sponsors and purchasing our own domain name and that sort of stuff. There has been plenty of interest from the fans for a board like this, and several businesses have indicated they would like to jump on board and advertise on a website like this one. However, to be fair to both sides, I want to give this thing a few weeks to get off the ground and then we'll see what happens. In the site's first 24 hours, we had over 4,000 hits and in our first week, we've had over 10,000 hits, so things are looking pretty good at the moment."

Jarrett also has an interest to possibly add a chat room and more forums. "Right now, the best thing is to keep this site small and easy to navigate through. If we need to add more forums sometime down the road, then we'll do it. However our main focus right now is to get people registered and read some 'old school' stories and race results."
