DIRTcar Fall Nationals info for Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 this coming weekend

I hope dirtcar and I-55 dont give up on this show after one attempt. The flaws are pretty obvious, but just take the criticism and improve the show for next year. The maybe they just shouldn't bother is crap.

What? Take advise from racers, who put on the show and fans who pay to get in? Are you nuts?

No one here for video.

Need to be here to see it.
Come buy a ticket!!

Pray that you never get so sick that attending a is out of the question and you're a diehard race fan and or you just can't afford to attend. I hope this never happens to you. Updates and video is a feel good for some. I do purchase PPV for races that offer on tracks that I would be attending if possible.

Why would anyone think to provide live streaming of the event, how ridiculous.....

Oh wait.... I pay $99 a year to subscribe to Loudpedal and then I get to watch the races from all over the USA and attend the ones locally.

You're right though. In this social media, live streaming, youtube digital age, the only revenue streams the tracks should be pursuing is ticket sales at the gates.

I've been paying $40 a month for www.dirtvision.com. I think its $100 a year for www.dirtondirt.com and whatever ppvs i've decided to buy. There is definetely a market for it, but I have no clue how much of a cut tracks get in those situations. But I was kinda surprised Jimmys Facebook page didn't go live like he does every other weekend. There probably would have been more people buy a pay per view of this race than attended. With some guys traveling from all over, their families would have been able to watch a quality stream from the homes.

Tracks get nothing for Dirtvision, that is owned by WoO and part of the deal you must agree to when your track has a WoO event.

Bob Sargent offers a pay per view every week for weekly racing at Macon Speedway, I think it's safe to say Bob knows a thing or two about promoting....local tracks could benefit from a live PPV weekly...many ways to create revenue with PPV and advertising.
