WEEDSPORT, NY.....Less than one week remains before Boundless Motor Sports Racing, Inc. (OTCBB: BMSR) presents its season-opening World of Outlaws Late Model Series in Florida.

That's plenty of time for Walter Burson to pack his bags and head south from his home in Canton, Ohio after being named Chief Technical Inspector for the nation's newest traveling LM Series.

"We got a late start and just finished up the rules in time for Florida so that should give us a good base to work off," said Burson, 60, who has served pitside for STARS and Renegade late model series for the past 18 seasons. Only weeks earlier he resigned from the Xtreme DirtCar Series to assume his post within the Boundless regime.

"I'm really looking forward to the job but I'm probably more nervous than ever, with cars from a lot of different series coming down (to Volusia) I'm kind of like a rookie again. Everything was put together pretty fast so I'm sure we'll have to modified some rules sometime. But once we get established I'm confident there will be clear sailing ahead," Burson figured.

The 2004 World of Outlaws Late Model Series schedule remains under development as Boundless race officials are currently outlining approximately 40 full-fender events at 25 different tracks across the country.

Already confirmed is that the World of Outlaws Late Model Series makes its debut February 3, 4, 6 and 8 at Volusia Speedway Park in DeLeon Springs, Fla. The inaugural Series' events at Volusia offers a winner's purse of $5,000 on Tuesday and Wednesday, posts $10,000-to-win on Friday and boasts a $12,000 first-place prize on Sunday.

Joining five-time National Champion Scott Bloomquist and two-time STARS Circuit titlist Mike Balzano as charter members of the formidable World of Outlaws Late Model Series 'Dirty Dozen' are Rick Aukland, Steve Francis, Rick Eckert, Chub Frank, Bart Hartman, Darrell Lanigan, Dale McDowel, Billy Moyer, Dan Schlieper and Wendel Wallace.

"I've worked with most of these drivers in the past so I know what to expect and they understand how the program works," Burson said. "Once we have a few more races together everybody should be comfortable with the basic procedures."

While Burson will be under the heat lamp when a night of racing ends, newly appointed Director of Competition, Bobby Jackson, will be in the spotlight throughout every World of Outlaws Late Model Series event.

"Bobby and I are on the same page in a lot of areas," Burson added. "When it comes to giving fair treatment, using common sense and proper etiquette, we just want to help teams put on the best show possible for the fans. If I go home after hearing 'you really put the screws to the locals' or 'you let the tour guys do anything,' I won't sleep for a week. But if I hack off somebody for following the rules, I'll feel better knowing they'll like me down the road for being equal."
