Lebanon,Mo.-This week at the LebanonMidwaySpeedway,it will be double points night for all 6 classes following last Friday Nights Rainout.Classes running will be Sprints,Modifieds,FactoryStocks,superStocks?Sportsmen,Bombers and Mini-stocks with Hotlaps at 7:20 and Racing at 8PM.
Also a new race event will be added-The Laclede Heating & Cooling Dash For Cash. "This will be like the old days of a trophy dash-except it will feature a different class each week." Said Announcer Ron Williams.
" Lebanon Residents Wayne,Vickie,and Tony Fincher of Laclede Heating& Cooling will be putting $50 each week into this and wanted to bring back alittle of the old days.This event will have a Max of 6 cars and Minimun of 4 for 5 laps and $50 to the winner.Should we have 2 heats in that class,then the top 2 from each heat will be eligible for this,3 heats means the top 2 from each heat and inverted from the way they finish in the heat.We did this last Sat Night with the FactoryStocks and the crowd really enjoyed it.Next Week,the Area Sprints will be in the Dash and it will be a different class each week.The Fincher's wanted to make sure it goes all the way through the classes and they all have the same amount of times to have this event.Can you imagine 4-6 Bombers running 5 laps for $50 to the winner-No points,just money to the winner-all we can say is exciting.
Also this weekend-the track will play host to the National Flattrack Motorcycle Racing Association out of Witchita,Kansas.
Motorcycle Racing in different classes and 4-wheel racing.The group normally brings around 60-80 riders in different classes.Advanced tickets are on sale at area Motorcycle shops in Lebanon,Camdenton, and Rolla
