Haughton, Louisiana (March 11, 2006) -A change of plans paid off for Garrett Durrett as he scored his second O'Reilly SUPR Late Model victory of the young season. Durrett originally planned on racing elsewhere this weekend but a strong start to the O'Reilly SUPR season that sees Durrett atop the championship standings helped influence the decision to make the short 30 minute haul from his Simsboro, Louisiana base.

Durrett used a Pro Power engine and a MastersBilt chassis to take the win and to ensure a starting spot in next Friday night's World of Outlaws vs.
SUPR Challenge race at Baton Rouge Raceway. Durrett now leads Rob Litton in the championship standings by 55 points.

Durrett won tonight on a tight race track after winning last week on a big open track showing a strong program at Garrett Racing. "This weekend was a little bit less comfortable than last weekend was." The support from his crew and family are a big part of the program as are sponsors Davison Transport, Garrett Racing and Stuckey Enterprises.

Durrett started on the outside pole and outraced B&K Underground Top Qualifier Ryan Plaisance to grab the early lead. Durrett would lead throughout the 50-lap feature as the Champion Park racing surfaced showed a strong preference to running on the bottom tonight. Durrett held off Plaisance, who exited early with suspension damage, Jeff Chanler and then Kenny Merchant to take the win.
Kenny Merchant steadily worked his way to the front from his ninth starting spot, finally working by Jeff Chanler for second with two laps to go but with far too little time to catch Durrett. Chanler held on to third. And while most of the front runners were running the bottom, Jason Ingalls used the top of the track effectively moving from 20th to fourth to earn the
Creel Brothers Hard Charger award. Jody Prince showed early strength on
the top as well but his motor let go just before the halfway mark.

Lee Davis rounded out the top five followed by Lee Davis, Justin Ingalls, Terry Henson, Allen Tippen, Keith Craft and Patrik Daniel.

33 O'Reilly SUPR Late Models were on hand. Ryan Plaisance, Rob Litton, Ray Moore and Robbie Stuart topped the heats with Ricky Ingalls and Bubba Mullins winning the last chance races.
