Dustin Griffin, Jeff Mueller and Travis Booher all took feature event wins at Quincy Raceways on Sunday, June 8 during Poage Auto Center Night at the Races. The fourth feature event, the Miller Lite Modifieds was rained delayed until next Sunday, June 15 as Mother Nature cut loose with more of the wet stuff before the race could be ran.

Dustin Griffin made good use of his front row starting spot in the thirty lap Budweiser IMCA Late Model main event but it sure was an easy win for Griffin’ first ever feature event win. Matt Bailey challenged Griffin for the first five laps then Keith Pratt made a real battle out of it by running side by side with Griffin from lap six to the tenth lap Pratt edged ahead of Griffin for the lead on the eleventh lap and hung tough until Griffin was able to regain a narrow lead over Pratt until Jason Frankel joined the fray and took over second on the twentieth go round. Frankel then pressure Griffin both high and low to no avail to the checkered flag. Frankel had to settle for second followed by Pratt in third, Robby Warner in fourth and Matt Bailey in fifth. Lonnie Bailey, Billy Genenbacher and Pratt were the heat race winners while Dustin Neese took home the hardware in the Summy Tire and Auto Center Trophy Dash.
The Miller Lite Modified feature event had to be rescheduled for next Sunday, June 15 as rains came before the event was able to take to the track. Wyatt Lance, Steven DeLonjay and David Wietholder too the heat race wins with Michael Long grabbing the win in the Advance Trading Trophy Dash.

Jeff Mueller took his third feature event win of the season in the Triple R Performance Engines Sunoco IMCA Stock Car main event. Mueller led every lap of the feature event but John Oliver Jr. made a valiant charge to try to overtake Muller until the closing laps. Oliver had to settle for second followed by Abe Huls in third, Chris Wibbell in fourth and Levi Long in fifth. Doug Huls and Mueller were the heat race winners.

Travis Booher took the feature event win in the Tim’s Machine Shop Hobby Stocks in a rain shortened event that lasted through several caution periods an eleven lap when rain starting falling bringing the checkered flag. James Leffew took the second spot followed by Michael Larsen in third, Steven Watkins Jr. in fourth and Wes Mayfield in fifth. Steve Carlin and Aaron Brocksieck were the heat race winners.
