John Leahy Jr. took the win in the Southern Missouri Dwarf Car Association main event. The race got off to a rough start when a crash on the backstretch of the opening lap eliminated nine of the twenty-six cars in the main event. None of the drivers were seriously injured, but several cars appeared to be severly damaged. Tommy Worley, Sr. came from deep in the field to finish second and Troy Jacobs was third.
