Dwarf cars to race at Fredericktown in 2004

What next?
I won't say that those guys were wrong to venture down to the rock, but the rock shouldn't be adding this class on a weekly basis. There could be more cars gained in the area, but right now there aren't enough to support two tracks.
I practically begged for the rock to take the dwarfcars in a few years ago and the track wasn't interested. this happened when we didn't have a weekly track to race at. Now, we have an established track and because of a few disgruntled guys, dwarfcar racing in the area is destined another bad blow.
Good luck in '04, maybe you'll draw enough crowd to pay the bills now.

hey millsey everybody know the situation between you and bob johnson,so why do you keep trying to take his classes.most of the dwarf drivers like doe run because it shows who the drivers are and the ones that can't drive.while i'm on the subject of YOU taking classes away you missed up a perfectly good class of cars/trucks when you started the "goats"oh i mean the rams.just because some of you guys couldn't handle getting beat.so you decided to form you own organization and didn't want certain drivers to join.personally you need to stay with reporting the news and leave the racing to the drivers!!!!!!!

Hey just a few years ago all Dwarfs had to look forward to was getting tossed in a bar by a gang of Drunks. Now they have two tracks to race at on Friday night You people should loosen up a bit, the vertically challenged deserve to race too!

What you wrote on here was the most ignorant thing i have ever heard ! I dont know why some of you people dont get a life and quit bashing Jeff Mills. First and for most, Jeff Mills isnt the one who even is in charge of the race track at Fredericktown. He is the announcer. The people running the track are the ones who are allowing the dwarf guys to race down there, not Jeff Mills. So, get off your rediculous soap box about Jeff Mills and Bobby Johnson. This is just one guy stirring stuff up. I talk to a few Doe Run guys and no one mentions stuff like that.
I came in after the whole Doe Run thing happened and don't know all the details and don't care to know. It has nothing to do with me. I race to have a good time and not get caught up in crap like that. I can tell you this though, the RAMS was not made because of anyone scared of being beat. Shoot when I first joined the RAMS it was made of ALL Doe Run guys. The class out grew Doe Run. You should be glad the class is growing. We are thrilled that MCS is going to be running the class next year. I hear Doe Run is in the process of adding banking and moving the back straight out some. That's great and will maybe help the class grow even more at Doe Run.
Even though this person is presenting his case in the wrong way you can still see his/her concern. Why are the dwarf cars coming to Fredericktown? Is it because the these classes are out growing the track as well? Who wouldn't want the class to grow even more. I do see where their concern is coming from if it's not a car count thing. Attacking in a negitive way won't get you anywhere though. I think that Fredericktown and Doe Run Running mini stocks last year hurt the class a little because neither track had huge car counts, but this year both tracks had decent numbers as the class is growing.
But then I've thought about coming out to Doe Run and run a couple nights this last year just to run something different. But do you know why I didn't... Because I've seen the crap that's gone on just with in the mini stock class like the incident that took place at SFCR in the stands. And there's a few drivers out there with the reputation of being real rough drivers. I'm not scared of being beat by anyone at Doe Run, but I'm not going to go out there to tear my stuff up or to worry about my family in the stands. Now I know that's not the majority at Doe Run. And I don't want to be negitive on this post, but sometimes when you start pointing finger sometimes you need to clean up your own back yard first.
And for the good guys at Doe Run I plan on keeping your stats as well on my site with the help of Mike... Not that my site is anything special. Just something for me to learn and play around on.
By the way, when the Doe Run guys do run with the RAMS we have always had a good time and never and any incidents. I do not expect any of you to join us at Fredericktown because Doe Run is your home track, but I hope any time you have the chance to run with the RAMS on any other night you'll come out and run with us.

hey tiff digger could you name one person that we wouln't allow to join the rams??????i didn't think so-and as for the rock stealing away the dwarfs,last time they came to fredricktown a few of the drivers stated they were tired of dealing with bobby.even some of the doerun ministockers were getting tired of it and said they wanted to race with the rams next year-so if you want the truth do a little research and poll some of the drivers to get their opinions,you might be surprised that it isn't jeff mills holding the gun to their heads,and yes i started racing at doerun a few years back and i know why they are packing it up to run at another track-some are going to stay at doerun and race,and some will come back ,it just gives them an opportinuity to race other tracks,and with the rocks new management it is on the way to becomming an even better track for the racers and fans i hope next time you can think before you speak,rams vice president,shannon

Need to know your facts about the RAMS before you run your mouth. everyone that raced at DRR was welcome to join and most everyone did. When the RAMS President ( all officers where voted in by the members) Jeff Mills contacted Bob Johnson and made him aware of the payout the RAMS wish to receive, Bobby's EMAIL: DRR does not recognize the RAMS as a Assoc. and would not meet the payout (which was slightly more than DRR payout) but that anyone wishing to race at DRR was more than welcome. When Bobby said no some of the current racers at DRR resigned their memberships or did not renew them. I don't have a problem with anyone at DRR. If Bobby would have said yes we would have raced the 5 RAMS home events at DRR in 2001. It was said that only 16 cars would be allowed to start a feature and with the size of the track that's about all that would fit without non-stop yellows. In 2002 & 2003 the average was 16 or more mini stocks starting the feature at Fredericktown. So the average week we would be sending home 6-10 cars without making a feature or receiving any money if all of the mini stocks where racing at DRR with it's current size.
As for as not being able to handle being beat at DRR. In 2001 I won some features and in 2002 (RAMS first year) I raced my 36M&M car one time at DRR and won the feature with #17 Jathon Cruse (2002 RAMS Champ) in 2nd on my heels. It wasn't easy by no means but a win just the same. I never went back because no one would speak to me after my victory and my victory photo was never seen. I have since raced against many of the racers from DRR at other tracks and really enjoy the competition.
I'm not sure what the deal is with the Dwarf cars going to the Rock, you need to speak to them. If they don't want to go they won't go!
I wish both Doe Run Raceway, Fredricktown Raceway and any other track the best of luck.

Shannon--Why are you taking a shot at the Doe Run Raceway? Has Bobby gotten on here and bad mouthed the RAMS or the Rock? No he hasn't. The RAMS have talked about wanting to race at Doe Run once or twice a year but do you think that Bobby will want them there after their Vice-President is taking shots at him? And when did you race at Doe Run, I don't remember you racing there?

now mike shannon wasn't dogging on doe run he just stated what he has heard from other drivers and how he felt he was treated... now if shannon was taking cheap shots at doe run he would have said thing like doe run &*&* or treat the drivers like $*$* he was just stating some thing he was told and really if any of you guys would watch the board more closely you will see there is a new board member about every month or two just to start crap between doe run and the rock and every time we all get on here and amuse that person.... this person will only post one or 2 times then reappear as sombody else.... mike do you have anything agaist us?? do we have anything agaist you? I think not ...all this is a unhappy person that likes to start crap....

Mike, that was one mans opinion of his personal experience. The main concern here is the one person spreading hatred because things arent going their way. YES!!! WE have a CRY-BABY folks. ...........Shed a little light on the problem, and the truth will come out. Tiff girl ..... I feel your pain.... I'm just a poor mini-stock driver, who cant buy a feature win. And evidently you are a poor soul who isnt happy with life, and has to have something to b!tch about.... Guess I may as well sign this.. uh mike,how do you see it that that was a "shot" at the doerun raceway????well lets see i raced the 66 pinto and phils nissan truck once before it blew.i was just explaninig to tiff girl that infact jeff mills was not the one bringing the dwarfs to the rock,and that we have never refused letting anyone join the rams.some people just can't get their facts strait-and as far as me stating i know why some of them are packing it up and moving,it is not big enough.the dwarfs don't like the close contat(the few that i heard complain).bobby has promised a bigger track now for how many years?????this was not intended to be a "shot" at the doerun raceway or bobby,this was brought up so tiff girl could learn something,when have i ever bashed doerun,if i was going to take a shot at doerun i would of made it crystal clear to everyone that infact it was a "shot",and as far as the RAMS running at the doerun raceway,untill bobby reconizes the RAMS as an association like every other track we have ran at,we will not be racing at his facility,i just don't understand why everyone that doesn't race at doerun are considered anti bobby,gezzz i hope this helps you to understand my orginal post,shannon
