Tony Stewart will be on Wind Tunnel on Thursday night. Speculation is that the future of Eldora Speedway will be disclosed on the show.

Will Despain even touch the subject? His fan-base may have to call in with the question. I'm pretty sure this interview is really just because he's one of the 10 drivers who were in the "Chase for the Cup".

There's a thread on 4m referring to this. Someone supposedly called Eldora to try to get some info, and was told to watch Wind Tunnel tonight. Also, same person supposedly called the Darke County Recorder of Deeds office. He was told that the paperwork hadn't been filed yet on the sale because one of the parties died in the Hendrick plane crash.

Now, I work with a surveying firm, and I know that a recorder of deeds in ANY county in ANY state typically does not know this information first hand.

No no I mean now they dont know if he will be on because of his schedule or something I saw it on a t.v. commercial for Dave Despain.

Good, maybe Tony will update the dump such as modern restrooms, concessions, heck man you spend half the night waiting in lines. Earl was a great promoter, but was about the greediest one. just my 2 cents. Bernie

Hey Bernie,

Yeah Bernie, Earl was greedy.:rolleyes: NOT! I could eat there all weekend long and still never spend as much as I do at SFCR and Pevely. Plus the tickets to go to the Kings Royal are cheaper than an outlaw show at Pevely or Tri-City, plus 42 dollars for a two day pass to one of the biggest Late Model shows ever..... I don't know what exactly you are referring to but I wouldn't call it a dump by any means. You think maybe the reason you had to wait in lines was due to the many thousands of fans that were there all trying to p*ss at the same time? The local tracks that I mentioned above could only dream of having that many fans attend their shows.

been going there for about 15 year and never stand in line ,you have to know when to go and what to bring before hand
