Lebanon,Mo.-Entries are now being accepted for the Sept.16-17 Midway Speedway Modified Madness.The event will pay 6000 to win and 600 to start.Entry fee is 100 per car for early entries.Sept 1 post-dated entries will be declared early,while entries recieved after Sept.1 will carry a 150 entry fee.The starting grid for the Madness will see 26 ground-pounding Modifeds take the green on Sat night Sept 17 in this 50 lap affair.
Qualifying will be both Friday and Sat Night with 14 cars locking-in on Friday Nights events.The Speedway will be hosting a special Qualifying race on Sat Night July 30th to allow a driver a spot in the 1st Annual event.
Heat race winners from Friday Night will advance to the 50 lapper,while they will also run a pole dash to set the front part of the field for positions.The Winner of the pole dash on Friday Night will recieve a throttle linkage from Kluhsman Racing Products out of LockWood,Mo.
"After visiting Midway for a recent show,we heard about this Modified Madness, we wanted to help-out. After all Modifieds really helped get out business started"said owner-Mel Kluhsman.
Also on Friday Night,there will be a qualifying race held with cars advancing to the 50 lapper also.
Then on Sat Night,redraws for qualifying heats where the winners will advance and also a final qualifying race will be held to determine the field.1 spot is held for high points car from the final Midway Standings that hasn't qualified yet for the event and also the qualifying race to be held on Sat Night July 30th to finish out the field.The top 4 finishers in the A feature Sat Night will also recieve throttle linkages form Kluhsman Racing.There will also be 1 support class running on each night a complete show.
