Fairbury Speedway Announces Modified Teams for the 33rd Annual Prairie Dirt Classic

With a record number (82) entries submitted this year for consideration to race the prestigious Modified portion of the Prairie Dirt Classic, Fairbury Speedway officials have narrowed the list down to 64 drivers today. “It’s one of the hardest things I have to do as a promoter”, conveys Fairbury Speedway track owner Matt Curl. “Honestly it’s the only way we can keep the Modified's a part of the PDC with the high car count expected for the event and our tight pit area". "My team takes a lot of pride in putting this list together and although it is stacked, I know some teams will be disappointed they didn't make it and that hurts me".

Drivers from a record 12 states (Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee, Mississippi, New York, Missouri, Texas, Pennsylvania, and California) will lead one of the toughest Modified fields anywhere in the country for the Summit Racing Equipment Modified Nationals Finale.

The Prairie Dirt Classic presented by the Bank of Pontiac and the Illinois State Rifle Association, will open the doors for the 33rd time on Wednesday July 26th. Check out all the information about the PDC online at www.fairburyspeedway.com

All drivers that registered for the event will be getting an email soon with PDC event details or refund information. On behalf of the Fairbury Speedway, Thank You to all the drivers that sent in an entry in for the PDC.
