(Warrensburg) The loyal CMS race fans are in for a real treat on Saturday night with a long list of free prizes to give away on P.A.R. Electrical Contractors / Fan Appreciation Race Night. It will be another night of the sizzling side by side racing action the race fans always enjoy and the drivers come back to each week at the CMS high banks. The B-Modified class will be racing for three additional Contingency Connections bonus awards, if they have registered for this free driver program.
The Mighty Modifieds point’s race could go down to the final night with Aaron Marrant leading Dennis Walrath, Joe Bradshaw and Terry Schultz in this premiere class of drivers at CMS. Each race is important for this super competitive class.
Mighty Modified drivers are also reminded of the, $2,000 to win modified special on September 2nd. If you have raced at least twice at CMS in 2006, then you will not be required to pay the entry fee.
The Street Stocks have been extremely close in the points chase with seven winners. The points are tight with Jimmy Ngo, John Ebert, Tammy Korff, Marc Carter, Chad Eikleberry, Brett Nail and Cole Wimmer all within close striking distance of the title.
Brett Rollert continues his lead in the Limited Late Models class and Josh Fisher is dominating in the 305 Sprints along with Tony Nelson in the newly expanding B- Modified division.
You don't want to miss the weekly Contingency Connection classes of Mighty Modifieds, Limited Late Models, B- Modifieds and Street Stocks racing for the checkered flag during their feature events on Saturday night. Heat races start at 7:30 pm with Hot Laps at 7:00 gates opening at 5:00 pm. Central Missouri Speedway is located just 4 miles north of Warrensburg or 14 miles south of I-70 on Hwy 13.
