Fan Appreciation???

I would just like to say that i was really dissapointed Friday when Godfrey decided not to do anything for Fan Appreciation Night. I understand they say Chad had no sponsers or something like that, but I just feel something could have been done.
W1LD and INTMD8R threw their fans a hell of a party!! Free food, beer and fun. Even rented a bounce house for the kids. Everything paid for from drivers. Not the fans. It was a great time!!!
I think Godfrey should try this again, try getting the drivers together and doing something for all their fans also. Its not just the track that should appreciate all the fans. I think i read that the Drew's donated somethings for the night, maybe others drivers could do the same.
I dont want to sound like i am blaming all this on Chad, cause im not. Drivers should have tried to help out also. I know not all drivers can just fork over money and such but every little thing counts.
I WOULD AGAIN LIKE TO THANK THE W1LD CREW, AND INTMD8R CREW FOR ALL THEY HAVE DONE FOR THEIR FANS. ITS GREAT TO KNOW THAT WE ARE APPRECIATED!!!!!

It should not be up to the drivers to help. The track should take care of all of that. Drivers do all they can to thank the fans. Wheather it be thanking the fans after a feature win or just by staying down in the pits after all races are over and letting the fans come down to talk and see the cars. It is great for the sport of racing that drivers do that. Just think, if all drivers loaded up after their feature and left. How often does the track promoter,and/or owner thank the fans? The don't. That's why fan app. night should be handeled by the track.

Your right, it should be up to the track to take care of it. But when the owner cant get sponsers and get it done it would be nice to see drivers pitch in and help alittle. I am not saying it is soley their responsibility, it just would have been nice to have alittle something.
I guess it dont matter it is over with now, and us W1LD fans got our appreciation party from him. So i cant complain..................................

:( I'LL SAY IT AGAIN

Fan Apprecitaion Night was very disappointing to say the least. I took the time to type up the idea to be presented to the drivers. I gave it to the person who ask me to put it down on paper and they ran out on it, instead of running with the idea. I do know they passed out a flyer. So what happened????? Our car didn't race. We still took the time to come to bring things to be given away and were told it had been canceled  .

Drivers....It is a very simple concept. The promoter may give you a place to show your talents...BUT...The fan is there everyweek, some all season long to cheer you on NO matter where you finish, be it first or last or on the back of the tow truck. Or the children that come to you after the races to sign their shirt or flag or to just ask you a question or 2. What about them? Thats why their should be a Fan NIght. It shouldn't come from the promoter for a cheaper gate admission. It should come from YOU the driver to thank them.

Remember this....The promoter may give you a place to race but, if the stands are empty is it all worth it? I think not. And as far as the cost. Most of you have sponsors that are given promotional items to give away to their customers. Why not ask for them to be given away at the track in their name....free food coupons, t-shirts, frisbee's, hats, buy a couple of pictures of you car frame it with an autograph. 10 bucks buys 5 hot dogs for the kids. It doenst take much to make a lasting impression.
Sorry for the book. Jusat thought it was worth mentioning again.

We Also Had Something From Our Sponsors And They Asked Me To Hold On To It Because They Are Still Going To Try And Have Fan Appreciation Night.
So There Might Be Other Drivers That Did Have Things For That Night.
