For the many racing fans I've known in my 30+ years in the area, it's hard to have to say goodbye. I received a promotion and a raise to lure me to become an Indiana Hoosier. We are moving in a few weeks just outside the Indianapolis area. I enjoyed racing at BelleClair Speedway and hope to be back often to visit the best little racetrack in the midwest! Of course I will also keep in touch via my favorite racing website! God bless and stay safe.

Hate to hear that you are leaving the area Rod. Did you get a promotion with SAL or American? It was nice getting to know you and watching you race. Hopefully things go good for you and your Family. Keep in touch you "Hoosier"!.....:D

Congrats Rod. Always have to take them promotions if offered nowadays. Keep in touch.
 
It is always good to get a promotion, but if you have moving that can be a bummer. But today you have to think money and if it involves moving you have to do some thinking. Good luck and hope you the best.

I will miss the area very much. Thanks to all who helped me build and race my pure stock, hopefully you got some laughs from it. :)

Tom, I got promotion with SAL. Finally after 19 1/2 years I got a chance to use my brain! YEAH! Will be working in the Muncie/Yorktown area but looking for housing on the North/Eastern side of Indy. Maybe I can finally get some brickyard tickets since I will be so close to the track.
