Tuesday night was NASCAR night at Farmer City Raceway, with stars Kenny Schrader and Kenny Wallace on hand. Many time track champion Roger Long turned in fast time of the 27 qualifiers at 12.812, just edging out Schrader. The dash went to Justin Allgaier over Joe Harlan, Jr Shickel, Kyle Logue, and Long. Heat wins went to Ryan Unzicker over Ed Dixon and Cody Bauman. The second heat ended in a three wide finish with Steve Sheppard Jr winning over Mike Glasscock and Joe Ross Jr. The third heat went to Kevin Weaver over Eric Smith and Justin Allgaier. The semi feature also was a three wide finish with Chris Dick winning over Ed Dixon and Donnie Walden.
The feature event went to Ken Schrader, who officially led every lap. Schrader had his hands full the whole 25 laps holding off Kyle Logue, as Logue challenged, and slid ahead several times running a different groove. Schrader had committed to the low groove, outlasted several yellow flags, and stuck with the low groove for the win. The last few laps got exciting as Kevin Weaver came on strong passing Logue for second.

final rundown:

99 Kenny Schrader
B12 Kevin Weaver
0 Kyle Logue
17 Corey Turner
3s Brian Shirley
S10 Frank Shickel Jr
1A Justin Allgaier
9 Eric Smith
30 Mike Glasscock
61 Jammie Wilson
1w Donnie Walden

The sportsman feature saw Jimmy Felker Jr leading the last foot or so to take the checkers away from Billy Nail, who led the first 19 laps. Finishing behind the duo were Mike Pickering and Rod Sandage.

The modified heat races got exciting as one local driver did a bit of 'rubbin against a NASCAR star in the form of Kenny Wallace, driving one of Jeff Leka's cars. The same driver then rubbed another local driver several times, and got himself spun in the process, of course getting his spot back, due to rough driving by the other guy.
The feature went to Jeff Leka, who has already claimed another track championship.
