Farmer City Raceway readies for the 2006 season opener on April 7, 2006 with two practice sessions. Sunday
March 26 and Sunday April 2 the track will be open for practice from noon until 5 p.m. The season opener is
Friday, April 7 with a complete show of UMP Late Models, UMP Modifieds, UMP Sportsman and UMP Street
Stocks. The always exciting hornets will return April 14. Specials for 2006 include the World of Outlaws show
on May 12 for $10,000 to win, the UMP Summernationals June 23 for $10,000 to win, the Red Griffin Memorial
show on August 11, with more details to come. There will also be another $5,000 to win late model show on
September 1. More special shows are still in the works. Hot laps are at 6:30, time trials at 7 p.m. followed
immediately with racing action.
