The late model feature finish was so close, the eventual winner just shrugged his shoulders and accepted the win. The fans were obviously in misbelief as the announcer called out the winner. Roger Long started on the pole with Eric Smith on the outside. Smith took the early lead, with Long, Justin Allgaier and Mark Anderson in tow. By the second lap, Allgaier pulled alongside Smith, and one lap later took the lead. Through a few cautions for debris and spinning cars, Allgaier held complete command of the race. Meanwhile, behind him, Anderson, Long, Smith and Mike Mullvain battled it out for second place. Long came on hard, but Smith finally got past him and at the checkered flag, pulled alongside Allgaier far enough to steal the win. Following Smith to the flag was of course Allgaier, then Anderson, Long, Jr Shickel, Matt Taylor Jason Fegers, Donnie Walden, Ryan Dauber and Nick Bauman.
Long had fast time, with Jr Shickel winning the dash over Mullvain and Smith in another exciting race which featured Allgaier taking second on the white flag, then pulling off the backstretch.
Heats were won by Tim O'Donnell over Chris Dick, after Dick led the entire distance and hit the turn four wall at the checkers allowing O'Donnell's first night in a late model at Farmer City to end with a heat race win. Second heat to Steve Sheppard over Roger Brickler, and Kyle Logue over Ryan Dauber. Chris Dick won the semi over Steve Sheppard Jr.
Sportsman dash went to Billy Nail. The feature went to points leader Rod Sandage, after several second place finishes, after a fantastic race with Jimmy Felker Jr, Billy Nail and Jay Smithson.
Street stock dash went to Jim Quinn. Heats went to Steve Ewing, Dave Crawley Jr, and Eric Hale with semi going to Lenny Sommer.
Modified dash went to Brian Lynn. Heats were won by Al Crawley, Tim O'Donnell, Brian Lynn with Derek Neville winning the semi.
The feature was another exciting race, with the only driver to win a feature this year, Jeff Leka, starting tenth. Leka continued his mastery with yet another win, followed by Al Crawley, Brian Lynn, 44, Tim O'Donnell, Randy Huffman and Roben Huffman.
