The modifieds had the headline at Farmer City Raceway Friday night with the modified topless 30 lap feature. Matt Goulden fired the first shot with a 14.386 second lap, fast time for the 35 mods on hand, also a new track record for the mods. The first heat went to Denny Schwartz in a spirited battle over Matt Goulden and Jeb Freidman. The second heat went to Lance Dehm over Danny Schwartz ond Dan Hamstra. The third heat went to Jeff Leka over Don Kiger and Brandon Kessinger. The fourth heat went to Scott Bull over Gary Cook Jr and Marty Hiser. The semis went to Abe Helfand and Aaron Ricketts. The feature was a barn burner with Denny Schwartz and Jeff Leka running away from the field. Schwartz won, but the excitement came after the white flag, as Leka was setting up for the pass, he slipped off the backstretch and clipped the turn three tires, doing a vicious barrel roll going over twice before coming back down on his roof. Leka was unhurt, although his car was destroyed. Schwartz went on for the win over Danny Schwartz, Matt Goulden, Scott Bull, Dan Hamstra, Don Kiger, Rob Fuqua, Gary Cook Jr, Aaron Ricketts, Wes O'Dell, Jeb Freidman and Jeffrey Curl.
The sportsman feature went to Greg Kimmons as he passed Nick Macklin half way through the race, with Macklin challenging the rest of the way.

In the Late Models, Joe Harlan turned in fast time of the 30 late models on hand at 12.963 seconds. The first heat went to Dennis Erb Jr over Joe Harlan and Richie Hedrick. The second heat went to Steve Sheppard Jr over Eric Smith and Matt Taylor. The final heat went to Donnie Walden over Ed Bauman and Joe Ross Jr. The semi feature went to Wes Steidinger over Chris Dick. The feature went to Dennis Erb Jr after leading all 25 laps. With Walden pressuring him at the start, Erb opened up a bit of a lead over the field. Steve Sheppard Jr then came on and caught Erb Jr, putting on several failed attempts for the pass. Sheppard Jr would finish a close second over Richie Hedrick and Joe Harlan.
